Me and several Scottish friends went to Latvia to teach kids at a music camp along with many other internationals. To represent Scotland we played/sang this and taught the Latvians to play it. We absolutely enjoyed it and it was a great time. As a result I oddly associate this song with Latvia as well as my home country of Scotland. Which is what makes this song extra special for me

When Covid kicked in here in the UK I had just got back from the NC500 in Scotland, I drove all the way to Portsmouth for 4 days and was sent home for lockdown I lost my job, my house everything I'd worked on since I was 18, but the night we were fired a colleague played this song and me and him listened to your music all evening. As a longtime fan of Runrig, Wolfstone, and the Proclaimers as well as trad bands such as Capercaillie, Seelyhoo, the Battlefield Band, etc., I have to say that I've only just learned of Tidelines through watching an interview with Nati Dreddd.
