Tidel Park U-Shaped flyover in OMR | Flyover near Tidel Park Junction Thiruvanmiyur MRTS work update
A new 237-meter U-shaped flyover on OMR near Tidel Park is ready to be opened for public as most of the works has been completed.
This flyover allows drivers from Tidel Park to make a U-turn towards Adyar, making the 3.2-km stretch between Madhya Kailash and Tidel Park free of traffic signals.
The project, which cost ₹108.13 crore, helps to minimize traffic from Adyar, Kotturpuram, and nearby areas. The first of two U-shaped flyovers was finished last year, and the second one is almost done, which will help ease traffic at Tidel Park Junction.
