You should consider using a vertical storage organizer on the tops of your drawers, rather than horizontal ones, because it will give you more storage space. Also, leave room in your other drawers for new acquisitions by brand. You might also consider moving all your products that you are no longer using but keeping for "sentimental or other reasons" (VB/EL, Nars Erdem, etc) in a drawer by itself. That might be a fun future video - products that used to be but no one makes any more. We have yet to see a repeat of something as artistic as the Nars Erdem collection anymore.

Tidying can be so tedious when one isn't in the mood, but boy is it satisfying when finished. Or at least when one section / task is finished. I love these videos most from you I think, because it is properly like hanging out with a friend. This is the kind of stuff that friends do: the everyday sorting and tidying which is a kind of MacGuffin for creating bonds and rapport between friends 🥰

Hi Michele, great vlog! I decided a little while ago to split my collection: I keep what I absolutely love and use regularly in my vanity drawers and all the other stuff I like and use once in a while in a separate set of drawers. It works great. Bonus: I rediscover things when I shop my stash or rotate things more in season and it streamline declutter! It’s one way to organize but it may not work for everyone. Bonne journée!

Hi Michele! I hope you are all well, there in LV. How is Ms. Butters?? You are a great motivation for me, too. I need to declutter some old stuff....and will do so tomorrow. I have started washing the brushes I use on a daily basis. I have a ton of brushes, so it gives the pre-requisite amount of time for them to dry, but I find that I really, really DISLIKE the massive brush clean. It is just easier, for me, to clean daily. It took some practice, but now its just part of my "get ready". The best part of this type of video is the visual proof of the hard work that it takes to have a KZbin channel. It's not all glamorous and it requires a lot of commitment. Have a great weekend!

Have you ever considered dedicating 5 minutes everyday to organizing your makeup? Literally, put a timer on your phone and see what you can get done within that timeframe. You would be surprised at what you can get done in that dedicated power clean. You may have time on some days to clean longer. Other days, nope, just the 5 minutes. I saw this idea on Kelly Gooch’s channel. She does this in her household.

I just moved and while I tackled some of my makeup (which I was able to shove nicely in my closet), organizing my top drawer/most used make up is going to be a beast. I know everyone is envious of your collection but I’m so happy I don’t have nearly as much as you. 😂 Then again, I’m in a one bedroom apartment so there’s no way I could manage it 😅 I’m having a hard time managing what I DO have. Love this video! Maybe use a marker one colour per half year to dot the underside of the product so that you don't have to work out how old it is. Keep track of the colour and dates on a cue card. 🙋‍♀️🇦🇺

I noticed in this video that you had an item or 2 from Jones Road...I am very much interested in purchasing the miracle balm....have you tried it, and if so what is your take on it? I love Bobbi Brown and completely agree with her that makeup should enhance your beauty/features not change your features. This is how I apply my makeup, much as I love bronzer and prefer it to blush, never have I ever contoured my cheeks, nose or anything...I like the way you apply your makeup because it reflects that philosophy .
