Tidying weeding & Mulching a Border ready for Spring🌼

A little job at one of my regular jobs before Christmas. I had a border to finish tidying and weeding. I also wanted to mulch it ready for spring. Hope everyone has had a good Christmas 😊

I live in Canada, so I love knowing the name of all the shrubs and flowers that most people have in their gardens. They are all so beautiful...and then I can see if they will grow where I am.

Know what.. it would be cool to see what it looks like when its in bloom after your hard work. In another video. Maybe check on those types of beds you've done this winter into maybe a 30 minute video. As always, you rock !!! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and hope you have a Happy New Year 🎉❤

Very enjoyable video! Liked the sound of a good sharp pair of hand pruners along with your conversation! After you were done in the big bed, the bulbs coming up were already more prominent. They were no longer competing with other plants.

Great looking bed. So unexpected to see bulbs coming up already. I’m afraid that if the weather in my area doesn’t get cold enough and stay cold the bulbs won’t come up.

I like watching a good border tidy, I can see that mine need doing but we’ve had so much rain here in the Midlands that I wouldn’t dare walk on the lawn to get to them. Well that’s my excuse anyway! I appreciate the fact you know your plants too.

Yes we’ve had plenty of rain down south too. Luckily this garden has very well draining ground so I’m able to work there even when there has been rain! Thanks for watching 😊👍

I’m not sure, but we have slug pellets you can put down. Only trouble is the rain washes them away😆
