Have you personally ever seen livestock of any kind with a broken neck? I have worked on ranches off and on and attended 100s of rodeos for 65 years now and have never seen it happen. There is always a veterinarian on site at every sanctioned rodeo and I have visited with dozens of them since I started documenting rodeos and getting comments like yours. They have never seen it either! But it can happen when a livestock trailer is involved in a wreck. That is fact, not speculation.
