I was the same exact way. For real. They aren’t hard at all. Go for it Andrea! Jump in with both feet and just give it a try. You’ll learn from it. You’ll be able to make adjustments from there. Greg also has a recent tutorial that opened my eyes to a new method. I tried it and it works too. The more random the better with these. Do it, do it! 🤓❤️🌈

Very nice geodes you picked the perfect colors and the hardest part about tie-dying is definitely taking the pictures if I take them on my front porch before the sun comes up that seems to be the closest to the real colors but then again I have to take pictures before the sun comes up🤣 once again thanks for sharing Steph❤️😁✌️

Why the winter? Take advantage of the heat to melt your ice to get the splits. You’ll love ice dyeing once you try it. It creates such beautiful results. 😊❤️🌈

@@BelladonnaDyesCo when you ice dye does it use more powdered dye then you would dyeing it with liquid? The reason I thought of the winter was because I could use the snow 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love these but I am in Australia and the cost of the dyes is a lot. You use so much dye in this method it makes it very expensive. Is there a method of making a geode pattern without using so much dry powder dye? Can I mix it in little bottles and apply like that? Would it give a similar effect? Could I use mixed up dyes and then add an ice cover over it all to let it sink in?

Liquid dyeing can be done with geodes. All of the patterns I show can be done with liquid. It won’t have all the beautiful variations that ice dye has. I have a handful of experiment videos that might help you decide what method will work best for you. Very cool. Try a black background when using these dumb smart cameras. 😆 i photograph my cannabis.... Alot. Lol. It takes time and patience to get the right lighting to show natural colors with this digital stuff.. Awesome looking shirt!
