Love it. My first 3 of 4 shirts I liquid dyed were scrunches. I didnt put enough dye so there is plenty of white in them which I didn't plan for but im actually not mad about them. I think the white helps them pop. Gonna do some ice dyes for the first time tomorrow. I cant wait.

When I first started I was afraid of white. I’ve learned to embrace it on certain projects. I think you’ll love ice dyeing. It’s so beautiful. All the color splits. 💗❤️🌈

While watching as you poured the muck water down the drain, I was thinking that maybe instead of pouring it down the drain you could save it for something like liquid dying or freezing it for ice dying.

I think it's because it's had soda ash in it for 48 hours so the chemical reaction is over. It will no longer attach to the fibers.

I have been making shirts at the same time and calling them “twofers” but in this situation the muck water is null after 48 hours. You might be able to get a pastel shirt out of it but I wouldn’t count on it and waste the blank t-shirt. I realize it looks wasteful, but it’s a chemical process thing. ❤️🌈

@@BelladonnaDyesCo when I posted this, it had forgotten about the 48 hour time limit. But after watching today's video, I thought if you get to the muck water soon enough you could maximize the amount of projects you can dye - provided you have the space and time.
