This tutorial video is for a reverse dyed single geode long sleeve shirt. The shirt started as a brown long sleeve t-shirt and ended as this beautiful green and earthy tone geode. The center of this geode is spectacular! I explain how to tie a great center for the geode.

Thank you so much! Yellow is starting to grow on me, especially the darker yellow colors. I really love this color combination though with the brownish shirt color. I think it turned out gorgeous! 😀 A Zombie color is one of the special colors Dharma released for Halloween 2022. Most of them are colors that were special seasonal colors in the past that are available for special order in 5 pound containers. Muck colors were colors that were special one time only colors that Dharma offered. The colors can't be recreated and so when they are gone, they won't be back.

Do you reuse your soda ash water?

Yes, I do. My Panda Spin Dryer has a spout on the front where the soda ash drains out while it is spinning. I catch it in a small pitcher and pour it back into my main soda ash solution bucket to reuse it.

You’re right Angie, my ends unravel from OWB and I always put a rubber band on each end to stop the unraveling. I also put them in the washing machine, dryer , sas, spin out in washer before dying. My main issue is large black areas that the OWB didn’t penetrate. 😢 It’s amazing Angie! 😍🔥

Thank you! I think the center of this geode is gorgeous! The rubber band is a great idea. It helps sometimes if the item is dry before you put it in the OWB. I think it soaks in a bit better to remove the color from the middle areas.
