Thanks!! No, I did not flip it and add more dye.. The reason I didn’t was because I did not flip the matching dog shirt. I was concerned I would run the risk of them not matching had I flipped and added more dye. ❤️🌈

Am wondering about the ice melting, is it better for ice to melt slow, or is it not good to melt quicker. We’re having a heat wave here in the pacific northwest

Uh, yes we are! My outdoor thermometer says 107° right at this moment. I do think it might play a roll in some way. Color splits and things like that. To be honest I don’t 100% know the answer. I haven’t run a side by side. I’ve used all different types of ice shapes, and ultimately I think the end results are really similar. For this particular project I think slow or fast melting will be fine because saturation is what you want. Maybe other dyers can chime in on this one. Stay cool, Val! ❤️🌈

Some of the white also might have been rubber bands being too tight. The dark parts I used Indigo and Eggplant...the light parts Cayman Island Green, Electric Green, Bright Yellow and Turquoise,
