Michael I thought this was an awsome video. Your inovative method of cutting the back to make the tie flexible was VERY interesting!!! Thanks for the video.

Very cool. I’d worry it’d break at one of the kerfs though. It looks pretty sturdy, yet flexible. You don’t worry about it breaking?
@MichaelZurcher4 жыл бұрын
I had it for a few years now, worn it a bunch...and it hasn't broken yet...it's not being constantly flexed so seems to work out fine...i think it depends on the type of wood you use and the grain direction

How thick was that wood for the main body of the tie? Did that top piece have notches in it to run string through it?
@MichaelZurcher6 жыл бұрын
The main body of the tie was roughly 3/8 inches and yes the top piece had a channel cut into it to run the adjustable neck piece through. Cheers!
@crazyrees236 жыл бұрын
Can it be made from any type of wood?
@MichaelZurcher6 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure there are a lot of woods that could work, you just need to be aware of the grain orientation so that it doesn't snap when bending.
@orthopod407 жыл бұрын
What do you do to attach the tie to your neck?
