TieBreak Career / Mozkovic v Swiatek 6-1-6-0 (WTA 1000) / Wuhan Open
Hi all, I’m a casual gamer that mainly plays FM, but after finding this gem of a game I’ve decided to upload some TieBreak content for viewing.

This is on the latest patch released 04.09.24.
After getting used to the changes on this patch where it appears attributes are more important, still on 43 overall, I recognized I had to completely change my gamestyle to avoid getting into longer rallies.
So I’ve changed my approach for the most part to a complete serve and volley game, and chip and charge game style. Ending the points quicker and avoiding lengthy rallies where I’ve found myself struggling to get on top of them is an approach I’ve become more comfortable with.
My character in Career Mode is Gina Mozkovic, born and living in Serbia.

*Wuhan Open*
The final WTA 1000 before the Finals and also my last tournament until then before I undertake some training for the very first time, ended up being great preparation.
I had a chance to develop my game style for this patch, and although now I can no longer get aces, I am able to for the most part hold my serves convincingly.
Breaking opponents was a big problem initially playing on the patch, but I’ve become more clinical as well on this side.
A perfect chance to test myself was in this final vs Swiatek. 3rd seeded for the tournament and a big game player would hopefully provide proof that my new style is best suited for my created character.
And that proved to be the case. There were a few games Swiatek was contesting closely and placed herself in positions to win a good number of games. But she was unable to get over the line whilst I kept faith with my tactic.
Keeping my composure in those situations, I was able to get the better of these tightly contested games, which saw me eventually win 6-1 6-0.
So it’s been a great year in the WTA 1000s. I’ve won all of them apart from one in Canada, but that was due to taking extra rest after the Olympics Gold success.
If training works and I can start to improve my character, I will continue along with this career and hopefully complete the last three tournaments missing to “complete tennis”, being this Canadian 1000 event, the WTA Finals and the Australian Grand Slam.
