i’ve been testing a dino variant (3 fossil dig, 3 oviraptors, 3 misc, 1 jurrac, 1 kaiju, 2 overtex, 2 pill, 1 tyranno). oviraptor being a 1-card combo enabler to the orcust shinenagan is crazy, specially if you end with overtex + bardiche/orcust negations is quite good too.

@@Lithium2300 You can also run the Predaplant Engine to make Borrel Savage Dragon (instant fusion sea monster of theseus and synchro with PK Boot) and search Brigandine instead of 1 Fog Blade for making the second Galatea. There is also that + Aromaseraphy Jasmine to make Naturia Beast instead (using lv4 earth warrior fusion guy) But using Predaplants are more vulnerable/dangerous to your hand count so I don't recommend it. Spicy tech though

When Crystrong glassfibre comes to the TCG (which I reckon will happen soon) I reckon they'll become close to tier 0, the one card glassfibre scrap recycler combo is probably one of the strongest opening combos in the OCG metagame right now.

You literally didnt even need summon sorc, most major combos never used it in the best combos. It was just a nice extra, they needed to hit dangers lmao

Summon Sorc is literally only to ensure Wand gets used to enable a rank 4 play (used to be Azathot but can now just be Redoer minus 1 fog blade for the spin instead) or Longirsu instead of 2nd Galatea. (also minus 1 fog blade for the spin instead) Dingirsu and Climax (Crescendo) completely transform the Orcust archetype without Sorc and I love it.

I'm still early in my testing but post list I really like the Isolde engine in here a lot. Gives you consistent access to World Wand and just makes opening Connector so much stronger. Not to mention Divine Sword is just perfect for this deck.

@@ShuraEssays you just use Isolde to special Armageddon or Grepher, which dumps the Wand. After more testing this weekend with my teammates I didnt end up think it was worth all the extra equips I kept drawing that do nothing in your hand.

Which is why Sky Striker and Salamangreat have been taking the majority of the top cut without a single danger. What Dangers do in a different light is they can boost up rogue decks to new heights and give them a fighting chance in a game. They pretty much say "Your deck can play through negation now."

Might update my Time Thief Zoo Orcust list to more heavily feature Orcust rather than rebuilding pure Orcust. Pure, with Phantom Knights and Topologics and Dangers. That's apparently a pure build nowadays. Anyway I figure I could just do what I always do with the orcust combo but instead of setting up Azathot and redoer I can make like Babel Bomber Long/Dingirsu in grave and a Redoer who can banish himself to dodge Bomber. Or maybe I'll try that Salamangreat Orcust build i saw at an ARG where Spinny Gazelle is 4 negates.

I run the predaplant super ply engine. 2 super poly, 3 orphis, 3 lonefires, and 1 cobra. Unless you get handtrapped, it gets you 2 monsters for knightmare shinnanigans, plus a super poly so i can make my opponent lose 2 cards to make a fusion monster of my own(usually a starving venom, buy i side in the swamp fusion and violet chimera if my opponent plays sky strikers or salads

I told people Rusty Bardiche was the card to ban, not PK RUM as it wasn't a problem before it got released. This man gets you two fiendish chains turn 1 AND pop cards. Yours truly, Fallen Tree, PK player become mad because he can't go into Dark Requiem anymore.

Bardiche is the one who made everyone and their mother splash PKs in their decks, giving you a level 4 with brigandine and the PK rum by banishing the PK you pitched. PK Rum and Azathot were in the game long before Bardiche was a thing. Guy is introduced, plays become degenerate, and you're telling me it's PK Rum fault.

If youre facing an orcust player everybody will have veiler rdy to negate bardich. The spell card is just stupid. Its a quick play spell that can do degenerste stuff at 3 copies.

Yes you can Veiler it, but judging a card by the way of it being countered is not the best way to prove it's fine. I could say PK RUM at 3 is okay because you can "just twister it". So, although I understand your position, I really don't see Bardiche being less banworthy than RUM. We have 2 Link on the Forbidden list right now, and I'm sure that, down this new format, Bardiche will be the third.

Of course you can. Just throw in 9 of the cheaper dangers, like chupacabra, mothman and thunderbird and you are fine. Not perfect, but completely playable. If you want your deck as competitive as possible on the other hand, then you have to pay for the expensive stuff.

@@chrismaster022 the thing is that there is a 50/50 chance of putting a new monster on the field (plus a free draw) while playing with the above, aka cheaper, danger! cards and the secondary effect is always subpar and often doesnt help you at all in order to progress in the game... ...but if you have the necessary luck of a Joey Wheeler, you certainly do well with the cheap version as well ^.^

It's a searchable counter trap so you don't need to have it in your opening hand. You don't really want to have it in your opening hand anyway because you want other combo pieces instead. Really similar to how full power Yang Zing True King Dinos played it. You had so many other forms of disruption that a counter trap was just really icing on the cake. Orcust kinda takes that idea to a whole new level though with how powerful it is lol. Having 2 would probably be okay, but definitely not 3.
