How do you feel about Lay Down Arms as a Portable Hole replacement? And potentially Destroy Evil in sideboard as well? I'm trying to learn this deck as I currently have it but am not seeing results yet.

I will try both and let you know. I certainly think lay down arms is a really good option as we are mono white. Destroy evil is great in my sideboard for my standard deck so will try it out and let you know! 😅

Idk about recruitment officer, seems like a big investment into it and we’re probably behind by that point.

It's a really good point, I've been trying it our and most times have won before it matters. Really it is there for games that stalemate where it can break the deadlock/flooding. In general the Soldier of the Pantheon has mainly just been a 2/1 itself so it's not a massive swap imo.

Fair point. I’ll consider it when I finally build out the deck in paper. Am just getting into the format and this deck seemed like it was relatively simple to pilot. Also not horribly expensive like some of the other decks in the format.

Great video. I'm new to Pioneer and wasn't sure what deck to build. Your video has good explanation and thought on each card including adding future cards with which I agree with. I do have one question. I see so many lists running Unlicensed Hearse for their graveyard hate. I'm assuming it's becasue it can flex as a creature too. I see you run Rest in Peace instead which I do think is stronger graveyard hate but I just wanted your thoughts on why to not run Unlicensed Hearse.
