As a person who has trouble with consistently parrying, i hate how reliant good players are on the mechanic. So, without perfect parry, what kind of clever feats can you pull off? Maybe then i could actually benefit my playthrough... Rather than get hit with another build nerf, or get stuck trying to parry everything.

Well if you suck with parries i recommend looking into summoner, mage, shield, ranged, barbaric and lifesteal builds. Generally if you cant parry well you need to heal or maintain health. So keeping distance, brawling, healing, or summoning all work. Tanking is also an option. There is also a really good tutorial for fighting every non-boss enemy in grounded. It gives you a little bit of insight into when moves will strike. Personally i had a lot of troubles with parrying early on so when swarmed by red ants i just activated barbarian and antnihilator, eating meat when my health got low. Paired it with some grub armor and astonishing acid. Sometimes you will need to parry though. The parry master mutation and a shield are a big help as well. I recommend fighting orb weavers to practice. They aren't terribly strong but have enough attacks to learn timings. (Plus all spiders have similar moves so anything is good practice)

You probably could have done this a lot faster if you’d gone for the 2 guaranteed feathers in the black ant lab chest instead of making a shovel and digging for them. Regardless, nice run 🙂 Edit: I forgot you need a bomb to get in there, nevermind
