Join Jay and Chad as they dive into G.I. Joe the 25th Anniversary Toyline live at 7pm EST on Friday Night VS!
The figures in this line were designed to closely resemble the original G.I. Joe figures from the 1980s, capturing the nostalgia of the earlier toys.
Articulation and Detail: The figures were highly articulated, allowing for a wide range of poses and dynamic play. The level of detail in sculpting and paint applications was also significantly improved compared to the original toys.
Modern Packaging: The packaging for the 25th Anniversary figures featured a modern design while paying homage to the classic packaging of the 1980s G.I. Joe figures.
Variety of Characters: The toyline included a diverse range of characters from both the G.I. Joe team and the Cobra organization. Many fan-favorite characters were featured in the lineup.
Updated Vehicles and Accessories: In addition to action figures, the 25th Anniversary toyline also included updated versions of classic vehicles and accessories. These additions complemented the figures and provided collectors with a more comprehensive G.I. Joe experience.
Comic Book Tie-ins: Some figures in the 25th Anniversary line included comic book-style packaging, and there were also comic book packs featuring reprints of classic G.I. Joe comics from Marvel Comics.

I don't have most of these, I think they came out when I was at college and did not have the time, money, or space to be buying new figures. So can't comment on these particular figures, but do have some thoughts on the character designs. 1. Battle armor Cobra Commander is my favorite design for him Looks cool and the file card description bolsters it so much. 2. Vipers are cool because they were futuristic while still being grounded, the Kevlar-style body armor, the helmet with built-in comms on the individual level, etc. I see the Cobra Troopers as insurgents, conducting raids and sabotage attacks against soft/lightly defended targets. They have light weapons and no armor because they are not meant to be in stand-up sustained combat. The Vipers are the troops that Cobra trains and equips to face off against major militaries in open combat. The goggles are weird, and I don't think I've ever seen an official explanation for them, or a fan-explanation that I really liked. Ultimately I think it's an aesthetic choice. At least IMO, the Classified Viper shows that the helmet just looks weird without the goggles, no matter how purposeless they are. 3. I seem to be the opposite of many people, the V1 Roadblock just looks lacking to me, he's in a tank top. I much prefer the combat vest of V2 style. I do much prefer the machine gun of V1 though. But the best machine gun is the scoped HMG that came with V4 Roadblock in 1992 (and the Funskool repaint at a much cheaper secondary market price for whoever wants one of the machine guns).

Appreiciate you commenting! RB2 is a good design I just think this figure isnt the greatest is all. Cobra Commander 3 is SICK!
