Tier List: Jackie Chan Movies (1976-1986)

It's time to tier rank the films of Jackie Chan! But he simply has too many films so we are shortening this down to just his first decade. By we, I mean Shawn of the Fu For Thought Podcast is here to help me break this down.
As Jackie begins his ascendance to the top of the Kung Fu cinema tower, how many movies will stand out and how many will fall?

Project A is my all time favorite movie of all time, have seen the film countless times as a young boy :) And in my opinion Heart of the Dragon is one of the most underrated Jackie films.

Yeah, do a part 2. It was a great watch. The young master was my first jackie chan film (who am i? was the second) and i still think is my favourite one.

Apparently, you guys and me differ greatly on tastes. Wheels on Meals is a masterpiece. The overall vibe is great. I love the comedy in it, and the action at the end is top notch

Not liking Meals on Wheels is very weird to me. But then I didn't care for Snake in Eagle's Shadow it felt dull/slow to me which is your guys criticism of Meals on Wheels... Anyways great video, there are some films you gave high praise that I haven't seen yet 👍

police story is a top 2 movie of all time for me. (along with another HK movie, Infernal Affairs). I could watch both of these movies endlessly. The action is so good, the comedy hits so well and the plot is tight and quick.

In the young master, Jackie was given tobacco water. In the east, it believed to have the same effect as drug high or giving a numbest to being hurt.

Wheels on Meals is too low, The Protector and Dragon Fist are too high, but otherwise, it's pretty close to where would rank them. And I've seen every movie in this list.

The Big Brawl is much better than The Protector imo. The slower action is hard to watch for a Jackie fan used to a much faster pace. Operation Condor is probably Jackie's most entertaining movie from end to end. The car chase scene in Armour of God is really great, but AoG could have used one more fight scene in the middle somewhere, bc the middle is kinda slow as you guys said. Dragon Lord has the same problem as Wheels on Meals and Armour of God, nothing much going on until the brilliant ending. The shuttlecock scene in Dragon Lord took literally thousands of takes to get right.
