Hard Target kicks ass. A great action film with a memorable score and Van Damme is great in it 🙂 Universal Soldier is awesome too 🙂 Kick boxer is a classic too 🙂

I Love JCVD he’s 1 of my Favorite Actors & Action Stars, very Charismatic & Talented, I Love Missing In Action, Bloodsport, Cyborg, Lionheart, Double Impact, Universal Soldier 1, 2, & 4, Nowhere To Run, Last Action Hero, Hard Target, Street Fighter, Sudden Death, The Quest, Maximum Risk, Double Team, Knock Off, Replicant, Wake Of Death, The Hard Corps, The Shepherd, JCVD, Assassination Games, The Expendables 2, 6 Bullets, & Enemies Closer are my Favorites & His Bests IMO

Awesome video. I was a HUGE JCVD fan back then. His best movies are always going to be the ones he starred in from the 80s to the 90s. I cannot stand the vast majority of the movies of the end of the 90s to present. The filmmakers seem to say, "Hey. You know how Van Damme played likeable, heroic characters? Let's have him play characters that are boring, broken, sad, amoral and void of charisma. That'll make him into a REAL actor.". Garbage. I hate the blandness and the gratuitous extra brutal violence of those movies too. Turns me off. AND the greatest thing I heard you bring out that I hear literally NO ONE mention is how in Sudden Death, he gets obvious doubling in the fight scenes. Greatly disconnected me from the movie. If not for that, it would've been among his best movies. I would love to know why they did that.

Hey Matt, great list. Mine ranking is basically the same as yours. The only one I definitely disagree with is The Bouncer, that's one of Van Damme better ones. Love that movie. I also agree Maximum Risk is very underrated

Universal Soldier Hard Target Kickboxer Bloodsport Timecop Sudden Death are all good. Replicant is underrated and Street Fighter is Hilarious and i dont mind The Quest Double Impact Maximum Risk and Knock Off

Hard Target, Bloodsport, Lionheart, Time Cop, Cyborg, Kickboxer, Sudden Impact, Universal Solider & Double Impact are Van Damme Best Movies. You can add Death Warrant in the list too. Street Fighter and Double Team are guilty pleasures. The Quest, The Order and Maximum Risk are his most underrated movies. The Order, Replicant, Wake of Death, JCVD and In Hell are his best Direct to DVD movies.

Saw "Final Score" with Dave Bautista this week and it reminded me a lot of "Sudden Death". I would put "Sudden Death" in the near classic category, but that's just me. Both movies are very good Die Hard movie wannabees.

It's not that you're doing anything wrong with commentaries, but it's a pain in the ass to put the movie on and then time it right and listen to you. Ok it's not that hard, but there is a lot of other stuff you have uploaded we need to watch.

I like Double Team a lot too. Quest and Legionnaire are decent. Street Fighter, hell no. All Universal Soldiers are good. I like Desert Heat. Assass Games wasn’t the worst I think. Kill ‘em All and Pound of Flesh are not that bad.

Van Damme’s Bad Movies IMO that I Dislike Black Eagle, Dragon Eyes, U, F. O. , Welcome To Jungle, Swelter, Kickboxer: Vengeance & Retaliation, Black Water, The Bouncer, We Die Young, & The Last Mercenary are His Worsts IMO
