I think the Jets are definitely contenders. You were talking about moves at the deadline but completely skipped the fact that the Jets got Toffoli and Monahan, plus they have arguably the best goalie in the league this season (Hellebuyck)

That's fair based on what we've seen they've only been good (or even just above average) but they've dealt with a lot of injuries. At full health post deadline moves they should be loaded.

I’m excited for this years playoffs. LA I finally healthy. If they stay healthy they are going to be tough to beat. I think we take Edmonton 6 games and win. Better goaltending, offensive power all lines. Arvidson back will have teams not sure who to match up their lines against. Only teams I am scared of is Dallas and Nashville. Kings do not match up well with both of these teams

Imagine if Landeskog returns to the playoffs and Kovalenko fitting in right away. Sure, Landy has missed 2 entire seasons and it's not sure if he will be available in the playoffs and Kovalenko hasn't played a single NHL game yet, but the Avs already look extremely scary as it is and if just one of those two players can provide an improvement, it would be bad news for the entire league.

Only teams I'm gonna have to disagree with here are Vegas, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Nashville. I understand why you put Winnipeg in the good tier (Winnipeg, Colorado, and Dallas are all crazy good) but I would still put Winnipeg in the contender team, as all three of these teams could go on a deep run. I would put Vancouver in the contender tier, but they're just barely in that tier imo. I think that Nashville should go up into good tier, as they've gotten really hot at the right time and I see them playing the same way in the playoffs as they are now. I don't see them getting a divisional spot, but I would hate to play them in the first round. As a Vegas fan, I would like to put them in their own category called "idek anymore." I could legitimately see them not making the playoffs this year if Minnesota and St Louis goes on a tear. If they do make the playoffs, I have no idea how good they'll be, as we haven't seen if Hertl will even be good for Vegas and Stone making it back for the first (and maybe even second) round is questionable considering the injury he (supposedly) got.

As I expected, people are sleeping on the Jets. Even when they on pace to beat their record-breaking 17-18 season (the one that had the long playoff run), people still don't believe in the offensive depth and team shutdown the Jets have. At least the Jets should be at the same level, or higher than the Oilers.

Leafs have many many holes any decent playoffs team do not have to worry about. And the very best they DO have are proven to be very average (to bad) every single year when it’s playoff time.
