Thank you for sharing ✨ It’s nice when content creators explore and share new interests, I have been following you for a while now, I love your DIY, vlogs, fashion content but I’m a bookworm at heart and this speaks to my soul 😍 Would recommend Cleopatra and Frankenstein (She Ate) and Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop (no plot, just vibes)

Awh thanks so much for your words of affirmation! I'm always worried about posting things outside of my "regular" content since I'm always testing new things so I'm glad that you liked!

Can't wait for part 2! I really enjoyed hearing you talk about a pretty big variety of books, which I think is fairly difficult to find on youtube book videos. I think you would enjoy Flatlands by Sue Hubbard. I really enjoyed the plot and writing, although it was a bit heavy to read.

When you put that „spoiler“ at the start, I immediately knew that it must have been about ‚a little life‘. I read it like a year ago-ish, and I still don’t know what to think about it. I feel like, it is so complex to describe. I hated every second of it, but I couldn’t put it down, and in a way, want to read it again. Some parts where definitely horrible (you could definitely see that the author doesn’t believe in therapy). I think I rated it 3.5 to 4 stars, but as you said, I‘ll never recommend it. It is a book that is soo good in anway, where you never wanz to have read it

would recommend Sweet Bean Paste by Durian Sukegaw - a short and very sweet read! Also The Choice by Edith Eger (a memoir/“self-help”). And for something fun/easy The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Love your videos! Keep doing what you’re doing 🫶🏽

Just came here to see how you placed acotar because everyone seems to love the series but I honestly kinda hated it? 😅 like it felt like a cheap over sexualized and kinda kinkier rip off of beauty and the beast but I think that’s just me haha

Hi Kait! Two books that I will forever and always recommend are Johnny Got His Gun and Black Beauty. They are both very heart-wrenching and you'll probably only ever want to read them once but I promise you they will stay with you forever. Great list you got there by the way.

Hi Kait! I really recommend Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah, I read it one time like 10 years ago and remember till this day, first book that got me sobbing. On the classics note, Frankstein is one of my favorites but maybe is too much of a classic and you already read it 😅

I loved Jeanette’s and Julia’s memoirs too. And with ACOTAR I stopped after the second book 😭😭 couldn’t make it through the third or any others sadly, it became so different and bland

I might try again in a few months with the third but I just didn't feel super attached to the main characters :/
