Girl I hear ya! This happens to me when I read too many books in a long period of time with no breaks. Sometimes it just means that you need a break from reading. Maybe watch a Netflix or Hulu series and then come back refresh to read. Also, those books you DNF might be a good 4-5 Stars read when you come from a reading break. Just my two cents 😊

Sad to see you had such an hard time with your readings lately... Can I suggest a book I recently finished and loved? It's called "A man called Ove" and to me it was a really refreshing, fun and emotional read! And since you do enjoy fantasy, I'd also recommend a series I basically binge read last year called "The Bluebeard's secret", first book being "Fly with the Arrow": the main character is one of my favorite, being super smart and practical. Maybe you might enjoy it? Not really sure what your taste in fantasy is since I've never read Throne of Glass...

I know you are trying to read new things - have you read Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson? It's YA, but it's a mystery/kinda romance, mostly focused on the mystery. It does have dual timelines which I think you've said you don't always love, but the timelines are in the 1920s and then current day, and it's about different people. It's about a girl who is trying to solve a mystery that happened at the private school she goes to, but it happened in the 20s. Really fun read and different from a lot of things I've read. 👍

I've read In the Weeds and Mixed Signals and I absolutely hated In the Weeds and wished I DNFed it but I loved Mixed Signals. I'm sorry you're having such a hard time finding good books right now. Some of the books I want to recommend to you are ones that are similar to ones I know you loved and since you're looking for something new I don't know... maybe try Damaged Like Us because that's an awesome story from Krista & Becca Ritchie but its also new. And if you're into it then you'll have the whole Like Us series ahead of you to help drag you out of your slump.

Ahh yea I have those on my shelves! I loved the addicted series but am not sure if I want to read its spin off. I don’t want to ruin how I look at the original series if I end up not living the story about their kids

@@AvivasLibrary Thats Understandable. The first three books are about Maximoff Hale and Farrow Keene who is his bodyguard and also the son of the family doctor. I really loved their story. It was really deep and beautiful the way these books tend to be :)
