@@The-Azure-Knight I didn't get her quick. 😅 Her release date was almost a month ago. If you want to get them earlier than the western release dates you have to buy them from Japanese stores. My personal go-tos are Playasia and Amiami. No idea if they are the best, but they are legit.

🤣 In my defense I am collecting every licensed FF7 (OG & R) figure that exists. The reason why I have so many Tifa figures is because SE has released so many Tifa figures. 💰 For context I have 46 Cloud figures. 💸

Tifa is the heart and soul of FF7 for me. When everyone gave up on Cloud, she was the one to bring him out of his depression and turmoil.

Touche. But in og you felt Sephiroth is the antagonist to Aerith. Tifa felt like the normal person. Which while not bad is kinda boring.

Love how nicely they nailed the OG Tetsuya Nomura concept art design on this figure! As nice as the pretty-boy-fantasy-hyperrealism Final Fantasy games are going for nowadays is, I'd love to see an FFVII game with more of a cel shaded approach á la ArcSys.

I'm so glad Square is releasing the OG appearances in this scale! The Remake figures are fantastic, but these are a must for anyone who played the original game back in the day. Now if they would just release Chrono Trigger figures already!

I'm very pleased to see that the scale seems right when seeing Cloud and Tifa together (like Tifa isn't just the same height as Cloud etc). I hope they keep the rest of the characters properly in scale with each other.

I'll explain why People reacted to TIFA that way... She's a real martial arts fighter who is also a highly attractive woman . she's unexpected in the world of RPGs because most women were relegated to sorcery and magic. I know I know there were RPGs like diablo, dungeon and dragons etc but that's the point. TIFA is a modern woman, has a physically demanding role as martial arts using kicks and punches yet wouldn't look out of place in a jpop kpop video, sports illustrated, playboy, bridal magazines etc. Just look at all that sheer physicality but Her face is still soft, gentle and kind. So strong yet Angelic. She's got so much appeal going on plus the fashion sense. I mean I like aerith but those threads aren't doing aerith any favors. Of all the remake characters, TIFA was the most visually striking in every sense of the phrase,

Depending when you were there she may not have released yet. Tifa released in January and Aerith has been delayed until April, I think. They're also sold out everywhere online (JP). 🙃

Wow dude! I watch a lot of these unboxing videos. And I wanna say this has been my favorite. This has so much personality to it. Nice job man! 👏. And damn I thought I had a pretty good collection just because I have like 15 different Clouds. Lol damn bro you got like all of em. I remember getting my first figures imported from Japan shortly after the game came out. Back then it was kinda hard to do because the Internet wasn't as wide spread. You literally had to mail them a money order and then wait for it to be shipped from Japan. Took like 6 months! Edit: also I really wanted this bring arts set! Like really bad. But I had to vote with my wallet because of that NFT junk. 😢

I appreciate comments like this a lot more than any number of likes or views, so thank you! 🤩 Sounds like you've been collecting a lot longer than me then. I think one of the reasons why I collect is precisely because I didn't get my hands on any of them until I was an adult. Even though I have wanted a Cloud figure ever since I was about 6. I managed to buy these without any NFT stuff from Playasia. 😁 Cloud, Tifa and Aerith have sold out, but the rest of the crew is still on there with no mention of the NFT's.

Most likely because the new Tifa design is more realistic in body and face. And that’s more appealing to most people. If you don’t like “new” Tifa, well that’s cool and your own opinion. I personally like both as I grew up on Final Fantasy 7 the year it came out.

The stand is for when you want to do fancy poses. The claws grip the figure so that it can be posed in the air or doing a kick or whatever. ☺ I never use them because they take up too much space, and are a bit clunky.

Great as always ! :) We loved Tifa because maybe we played this game teenager so TIfa... is Tifa ^^ But today I think I'd prefer Aerith and I guess that the Aerith bring arts figure will be amazing !

If I was smart, I would have gotten her for $90, like I did with Cloud. Sadly I was too late and had to pay *way* more than that on eBay. 🙃 But I totally get what you mean. 💰

She only has the one hair sculpt. I think the main reason why it's like that is to match the original concept art. But you're right, they could probably have added another one, like they did with the additional face.

Thank you! It's not a silly question and you're not the first to ask. Sadly, I bought them locally years ago and I have been unable to find them online. They're not great and I'm sure you could find something better online by searching terms like "metal square wall shelves". 😁

She a great figure, but just a little too short for 1/12 scale. She should be about 1/4 inch taller. Doesn't sound like much but it's really noticable when next to actual 1/12 figures. Unfortunately, most "1/12" figures are actually a little too tall, which makes her look even smaller.
