Couldn’t agree more! In 2002 I think it was, I considered an SZ for £15k. I was put off by the rarity of windscreens, if anything went wrong. I think I’ve seen up to £90k now, so I need to slap myself with a wet fish 😂

Handy tip. If you need a new windscreen for your Hyena, it shares the part with the Alfa SZ.

This car always bothered me for one reason- the styling is an almost direct rip-off of Zagato's Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ from 1960-62 (not the Fulvia Zagato-sorry Tiff). That is an all-time favorite of mine, but to shamelessly "borrow" the design from your own catalog and rebrand it as a new Lancia special seems lazy to me from such a storied design house as Zagato. I'm being harsh, but if you know Italian cars, you get it.

Although I see the resemblance, i see a design lineage to the Lancia Fulvia zagato more. Above all I just see not a recycling of a past design but the trademarks of zagato design and styling. For example the a pillar and windshield treatment also used on the alfa romeo zagato sz and rz
