Chris Casey wasn’t contacted or consulted on Jonah’s film he ran the shop and was the first host of a skateboarding talk show which featured many of today’s favorite young og pros my homie gets overlooked by the game and he managed the shop that mid90s is based on I’m from the 90s era and one thing we don’t overlook we this who have and still hold it down for skateboarding not a hater or bitter old guy just speaking some facts

It was mostly a "oh fuck, we're old" laugh the crowd was doing. Because the thought of someone having to get into the headspace to be "someone from the 90's" is a nutty realization for people who actually grew up in it.

It is nice to see people in a genuine manner of being. They may have been nervous on stage, but their performance in the movie was incredible. All of the characters helped convey the emotions going on on-screen, which made it easy to find them all relatable in their own way.
@tejaswivemulapati2875 жыл бұрын
I thought Jonah Hill's first film like many other actors who became directors would be like all pretentious and shit but it was actually incredibly heartwarming. He has these long shots mixed in with shots that feel like he's punching your face with the truth. The story was simple and in a way beautiful, including all the underage drinking, sex, smoking, and the homophobic shit people complained about. It's one of those stories where you just know it's real and there's no bullshit to it, or anything that's sugarcoated to make it more pleasing to the audience. It's the way it is. And when it ends you're left wanting more. BTW, I love that Fourth Grade got his little moment at the end.

Mr. Hill, why did you feel the need to not write a ending to your film?

In my opinon it was a ending that worked because the ending montage and the hospital scene showed they all cared and they were more then friends they are family
@JMac-275 жыл бұрын
It wasn't a story to end, it was a glimpse into a life and that's how it ended. A look into a portion of a kids life and then it was over. It wasn't a story with an ending does that make sense?

What did you expect explosions?? It ended perfectly for what it was about. It recaped the whole movie without being redundant. The movie wasn't about skateboarders making it pro. It is about finding a place to fit in and that is exactly what it shows in the skate video.
