I agreed with every thought that you've expressed in this forum . I myself was introduced to African movies in Brooklyn New York when I entered "semi-accidentally" an AFRICAN MOVIE STORE . I and my whole family have been addicted it since then . I hope you realized with your performance and story lines you are actually creating Classic African Works , launching the African history and folklore way to the future for generations to come with the help of this new media called Cinema . To Mr Kunle : " Hip , Hip Hip , Hooray !!! " To you Genevieve , I say " LONG LIVE OUR AFRICAN QUEEN !!! "

Genevieve stays queening...damn she so fine! Anyway lol, the lady @ 54:00 said exactly what my intention was - focus on product quality and investment (including from our own people) will follow. I mean if all our movies aesthetically looked like CEO or October 1, people will pay. But the biggest market (excluding animation/comics) is historical/period pieces i.e. game of thrones, gods of egypt. If we make an african version of those...omo forget we dey win.

first, I love Genevieve but Somkele"s suggestion was 100% Yes, investors are needed but Nollywood concentrate on mastering your craft. I'm proud of where we are today, but work has to be done. We need to tell OUR stories in our languages, cultural, and nuances!!!!

My hat off to the two of you, you have both done very well in your respective areas. Especially Kunle Afolayon! What I do is buy Kunle's movie even if I have watched it for free, the reason been that I just want them to do very well. But there are too many bad Nigerians movies and this is one of the reasons for poor marketing. People with money don't want to spend it on rubbish!' And a larger percentage of the nollywood movies are really bad.

Ozioma Nwughala was just replying to Ugbaja Ugwa here of what I think that's all. He/she says what they think about Genieve and I said what I think too about Mr Afolayan. He thought of a Queen and thought of THE King. Ur the one who mentioned competition. Do YOU Ozioma want it to be a competition? Oh, we can have competition if you want competition. Competitor is good. Bless up.
