Park Seo-jun’s performance in the movie is splendid! He plays the role of a loving husband who’s caught between survival and safeguarding his wife, it’s different than any of his previous performances. The actor took on the role with lot of a restraint, subtlety and maintained a settled performance. The dark transition in the second half of the movie to keep his wife safe at all costs was one the highlights of concrete utopia.The actor definitely has a bright future, this role should serve as an accelerator to that path !

Thank you #tiff for bringing #concreteutopia to the circuit, it was a gripping watch. Kudos to the entire team 🎉 The cast & crew undoubtedly gave it their all, and#leebhyunghun is a terrific performer as always but for me #parkseojun as Minsung stood out as the more relatable character. The actor has a reputation for his power-packed performances, despite that it was good to see him reel in his “heroic” instincts and focus on what was required for this role more so in his weak and helpless moments. The character Minsung’s conflict between the disaster crisis propelled by human greed and his family’s well-being was heart wrenching. Through his eyes as an ordinary citizen one can imagine themselves in a disaster situation and brace for what’s to come - do these situations bring out the worst in humans? Is there time or space to uphold the moral high ground? Does one have to obey the authority or be brave and leave? Questions linger even after the movie ends 😢 Can’t wait to see more terrific performances from the cast & crew in the future ❤
