Karan Johar I kind of have love hate feelings towards your movies but the way you spoke about our film industry and showed everyone that we are at par with Hollywood is truly commendable. Our unique kind of movies are truly dear to all of us and we don't like it when they compare each and every aspect of our cinema with foreign one. Acting, Drama, Songs, Music, Dance and now as you said great writing. Way to go Bollywood!!

This is an excellent interview with Karan Johar. I always enjoy listening to him. His use of language is just great, and keeps me listening intently. The clips which were stated by the interviewer, to be shown during the interview, were not available for my viewing. What is the reason?

Who are you and me to decide what good taste is? You may prefer to watch certain genres of films but that doesn't mean other genres and the films in them are bad. Also, considering that Karan's films have been universally successful and have such a wide appeal, the people with a so called 'poor taste of cinema' make up the majority of indian film viewership. If his films weren't relatable or emotionally engaging like how they are, I doubt they would have been so successful and acclaimed.
