In a society that allows people to be whatever they want, most blacks chose to be victims & blame their favorite boogie-man. In the height of slavery only 1.6 percent of the total population owned slaves.40% were Jews, while only 0.35% whites owned slaves, while almost 30% of the save owners were black. 43% of blacks in South Carolina owned slaves, 40% of blacks owned slaves in Louisiana, 28% of blacks owns slaves in Mississippi, 25% blacks owned slaves in Alabama, and 20% blacks in Georgia owned slaves. In fact, Black Africans enslaved & sold their own long before selling their own to Jews, Europeans & others. The first registered American slave owner was actually a black man named Anthony Johnson. He even went to court to demand the right to own slaves. The Irish were the original slave owners in America. They were cheaper and treated worse than African slaves. “More whites were brought as slaves to North Africa than blacks brought as slaves to the United States or to the 13 colonies from which it was formed. White slaves were still being bought and sold in the Ottoman Empire, decades after blacks were freed in the United States." But sure keep blaming your misfortune of the white supremacy that doesn’t exist. Black supremacy is very much alive, but that’s perfectly ok right? When one screams BLM they are told it’s empowering, but it’s racist when whites say WLM or all lives matter!? All races want the best for their race & want their race to thrive. I guess every race is allowed to feel this way but those who were born with fair skin? Blacks are the only race that commit over 60+ precent of all crimes in America, have blk only colleges, grants, tv channels, categories for only blk people on Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, blk only scholarships, businesses, Churches, programs & the list goes on& on… while still having access to all the other programs, schools & colleges that aren’t racist & push for segregation. Now imagine if the roles were reversed ? Blacks are undoubtedly the most racist race I’ve ever met, not just towards those who don’t look like them, but towards each other.

That also explains why Angela Rye sounded like a media plant during the entire interview. She partnered up with iHeart and the sellout Charlamagne. It takes a lot to continue to construct content to a community that’s fighting you, but it’s just nice to see you power through for the community and for the black and brown people that are ostracized and put aside in this country. I also thank Tiffany and Angela for continuing in the fight and informing us about politics in a way that makes sense. I’m excited about the pod and I wish you all well. Who is not a descendant of American slavery she's not a foundational black American.. Doing a tether Caribbean chess move on wordplay.. native land podcast😂 couldn't say foundational black American podcast. Right Angela ? 🤔 Last but not least Andrew Gilliam😂 I bet Andrew and Charlamagne Da. Goddess. Aka another black industry 🌴 exchange 📞 numbers too😂 They have a lot in common😂

(In #KattWilliams voice) You're kidding me. The BFC sold out to move over to iHeart media/radio. According to Wikipedia, "iHeartMedia...has strong sympathies with the American Right-Wing." (In #KattWilliams voice) That's why Charlamagne and Envy speak so positively about nutty Repubes like Nikki Haley and Trump but constantly trash the Democrat Party. That also explains why Angela Rye sounded like a media plant during the entire interview. She partnered up with iHeart and the sellout Charlamagne. (In #KattWilliams voice) Thank God for Tiffany Cross and Andrew Gillum. They tried to speak out about sellout social media platforms like the BFC and right-wing republican nuts but Angela Rye and Charlamagne kept deflecting and changing the topic. 👎

Black folks will not listen to a podcast in large numbers unless you cover celebrity gossip and entertainment. Shannon Sharp can attest to that. Just look at his numbers. All the best to the Native Land podcast. I'm rooting for you guys.

I love this segment. Thank you. We need our own voting block of say 20-30 million voters then build an agenda from policing, the courts and policies that directly affect our communities. This is the only thing that will change the game.

Shoutout to Angela Rye! Andrew made a good point about her changing what "professionalism" looks like for Black people. After watching her on TBC several years ago, and countless, DEI trainings, I decided to be my authentic self and not code switch. I show up in Jordans or heels if I want. And, I get my job done and get promotions and accolades all the time. This kind of represenation matters.

Not good advice to give to young black professionals. It is always best to embrace a more conservative classy appearance as that is not ever going to offend. Then, once you learn the work environment or the managers are more relaxed in nature, that is when you mirror the culture that was created. It is not good to force your boss' hand on anything--you work for them, not the other way around. Be focused on earning a good living to pay your bills and not on changing office culture as that is a distraction that will often result in being pushed out. Law firms are just more conservative, a movie set or construction site perhaps not so much--mirror the environment unless the powers that be approves otherwise.

Lazy journalism and bashing social media is an interesting perspective. The freedom and expression from a tool that can reach far beyond traditional journalism is a blessing. Most of the viewers for most of these podcast come from social media. It’s a double edged sword but don’t forget about the supporters that have made your platform thrive that came from just one clip viewed millions of time from social media!
