Many people have questions concerning the topic of suicide. This heavy topic effects many people's lives. Even when things appear hopeless, Jesus Christ is our living hope. In this teaching, I will answer 4 questions from the Bible about the subject of suicide. These questions include the following:

My depression is from an incuraable illness. Belief works on things like drug addiction because your own mind can fix that. Prayer and belief don’t work on physical things, you can pray to grow a leg back, for example. Muslims have the same thing happen. Mohammed changes them. I am glad people are doing better but I think you did this yourself.

I lost my sister to od. She didn't do it Intentionally. She battled depression and mental illness her whole life. She loved God. She prayed and praised. She asked for forgiveness regularly. She was trying to sleep through a manic episode. 16 days before that my cousin died from od. He too loved God. He never could overcome drug addiction and mental illness. His baby sister just lost her fiance to suicide. We are losing so many to this. We must pray for all people. Mental illness has become so prevalent. So many doctors believe we should medicate ourselves for everything. The real answer is Jesus. Drugs suppress the ability to feel God's presence. We are living in a terrible time. Thank you Tiff, for your ability to teach so clearly.

Jesus said there was only 1 unforgivable sin and that was blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which suggests suicide isn’t unforgivable. Think about that.

Because we live life agreeing to all the companies/politics who are dictate us how to live What to eat What to wear How to behave TV Computers Cell phones all they long are adding to the bucket of problems. We are the creatures of God . We are created from nature and we should live and eat from nature. We shouldn't fallow those who are only profiting on our "helplessness". We should stand for our truth Our families Our rights . Health, children salary belong to us. In Bible we have only 10% we should give for the needs of all...Roads electricity Safety. Our leaders are taking 40-50%...and we have no life. We are starving ...900$ a month to pay the bills and to live for a handicapped. Rent .Utilities Food etc? How Not even 12000$ a year...but Biden's wife wears 15000$ dress...for whose money? Ours....Instead of helping those in needs we are feeding those who are rich and put a lot of burden on our shoulders. No wonder why we have that many problems with people not wanting living. Their blood is on those who are keeping us enslaved...hands.

My mother in 1976 suicicide . My 15 yr old son blew his beautiful face off... My younger brother shot himself at my home in 97 ... I was suicidal from 10 yrs old until 48 yrs old ... My savior came for me ...I am now 72 and love Jesus with everything I am. BTW my yr old came to me in a vision 4 hrs after his death .. He was whole and healed and happy ,said Mama I'm ok please don't be sad ! I am happy and free now ❤ So he was in his Father's arms in the kingdom

My husband committed suicide to escape depression. Until today I struggle to see wilful intention on his side to rebel against God. I had to carry on, and if one seeks the Lord fervently in a desert, the sand eventually becomes holy ground. And holy ground seems to impose reverence, and acceptance. There are times, when people become physically ill from a chemical imbalance in their body and it affects their brain. Sometimes mental illness causes people not to understand what they're doing, if it's right or wrong, or it's consequences. In those times they aren't responsible for their actions.

My husband has been so depressed for many years now and has been taking many medications and they don’t seem to help. I even walked in on him in the bed room praying to God that if he killed himself to please forgive him.. I listened through the door as he was saying this before I walked into the bedroom. It broke my heart to hear him saying this. Many times as I watch him I can see the sadness and depression in his eyes and I can see he tries to hide it the best he can. Im just so afraid one time I’m gonna come home to find him gone from this world. I won’t go into details on why he’s dealing with all this depression because I know many people will have negative things to say due to not understanding the whole situation. I just pray he has a breakthrough with the depression he’s going through before he ends up doing something that he can’t come back from. God bless all those going through these types of situations, and know that you’re never alone.

He needs to be on Sun on the daily basis at least 45 minutes to walk Play...etc Vit D3 high dosages should help with MK7K2 ...accordingly many resources. Changing his diet could help also. Not to eat chemically made for profit things that the companies are claiming it is food...because is not. Only living from nature. I hope he will get better. When we expect changes...something needs to be change. Otherwise everything will stay the same.

Pray in earnest God to Help You Get Through Your Difficulties no matter what they seem to be. We all go through problems in life but if we push ourselves forward to seek help from someone we trust. If you don’t have anyone ask God to Please Help You to Get Your Life on Track and Please Show You What to Do Next. Keep doing the next best thing that is positive and try to help someone else who needs a helping hand. We’re all in this world together and God wants us to enjoy our life. He sent us here for a special assignment and he will reveal to you what it is if you ask him. Get a good Bible and read it every chance you get. Surrender your life to the Lord and ask him to lead you and guide you each day. Thank him each morning when you wake up and pray continually throughout the day. Thank him before going to sleep every night for keeping you during the day. Pretty soon if you eat right, get sunshine and exercise you will begin feeling better. Surround yourself with things you like and seek help from a therapist if you need to talk to someone. The Lord will supply all of your needs and some of your desires if you place your trust in him. Keep the faith and go to church or join a Bible study or prayer group. Commune with nature and enjoy the little things in life that you free. If you’re able to work get a job or maybe two. Spend some, save some and give some to your money to a charity or someone in need. May God bless you and give you a peace that passes all understanding. To God be the Glory! He is an awesome God!

Bro Tiff about. 20 years ago I was considering suicide. I was depressed I had lost both of my parents and we were very close. I prayed and talked with my older brother which was a minister and let me know if I would hold on I would be with them again. After all this time I would not even consider suicide. I am closer to my Lord than I have ever been. Praise God and you I am free.

I remember suicide plagued me most of my young life at the age of 18 I remember hitting so low I was begging and crying out the holy spirit to take me because of the many events in my life that were going on and then for some reason a biblical preaching showed up on my youtube which I would never have searched of because I didnt know such thing existed or I thought it was boring. I watched it and during my injury as well at the time God wanted to build a relationship with me as I was alone for most of the time I also felt different I'm not going to lie suicide has crossed my mind however I know I have to stay here because god has a plan for me and when i feel weak I know that he didnt give up when he carried his cross for me ❤❤😭😭 thank you jesus for salvation

My youngest son took his life in May 😔 It’s been the worst to go through. He loved Christ, but struggled with worldly struggles, had severe anxiety and depression. I’m not sure if his meds played a part in it, but my heart wants to believe he’s in heaven and no longer in pain. My mom had a vision that his Angel told him to “not look back” and delivered him into the arms of our Lord. 🙏

Most likely the meds. I've always been totally against suicide and thought of it as the cowards way out. I thought this way until recently trying to get off benzodiazepines that I've taken as prescribed. Getting rapidly tapered off or getting off cold turkey will make you insane and now i understand why people commit suicide. I'm struggling with this battle every day.

Christians also have depression, not just the unsaved. I am a born again Christian and have had clinical depression for years. Medication helps me but God has allowed it to continue. I wish you would address this issue of Christians and dealing with depression in their lives.

There are numerous accounts of people who have had encounters in heaven and hell and there are movies about it. Jesus is real and if someone wants to pray and ask God if he's real he will answer. Mr. Tiff , I listen to you daily. And you have had such a impact in my life with growing closer to God. I’ve struggle with deep depression a lot in my life and felt hopeless many times in my life. My son struggles with severe addiction he’s 24, now and at the age of 16, I had no clue he was around the wrong person at the wrong time . I would say that I have felt like I’ve lived a nightmare for some years now. And thoughts of suicide has entered into my mind in the past few years just want to escape the fact that I live in fear of burying my son or getting that call. It’s torment to me daily and I know that I don’t want to ever commit suicide I just feel that the devil is really attacking my family. My son was brought up in church and he was saved as a little boy and he still prays every day that God will deliver him from this addiction that he has no control over anymore . I never give up hope but a question that I did have was if he was to accidentally die from an overdose and when he had tried so hard but the addiction has took complete control over him would he go to hell that has terrified me. @@candacegarcia3036 I hope you see this and take comfort. Ps. 34:6-8 That's a promise, if not in this life, in the next. Your son is holding on to God and praying daily for deliverance. I have no answers as to why some don't always get delivered from addictions and some die in them. I do know the Christian that trusts in Jesus will be saved. Please be assured of that. There are many addictions and bad lifestyle choices that Christians can get into bondage over. The diabetic that can't leave the sugar alone and isn't diligent about their medication, can die of complications. The food addict who can't find the discipline to lose the weight. The heart attack patient who doesn't exercise and get a better diet. They can all die w/ these complications, but we wouldn't doubt their salvation. So please don't doubt your son's. I can't make empty promises that your son will surely be delivered, but I will pray for it. I can't guarantee that in a relapse he might not od, because that sometimes happens. I can assure you that he'll be w/ God and you'll see him again. I will pray for the best outcome on this earth, that he is delivered and will have a wonderful testimony.

Christians can and do get depression and panic attacks, there were times all I new is that I wanted to be with My Lord…..He brings you through and gives His amazing love, compassion and empathy . I praise God that He has done that for me. My heart goes out to all who is struggling. Nothing but nothing is wasted, when you come through that time of such distress , May God use you for His Glory….most important for His Glory…to be there for others. Thank you Jesus for this Truth. Tiff I was listening to every word carefully. I don't listen to only three preacher's now day's. One must be careful with who they're listening too. Deception is so bad now and you better be spirit filled to know when you're hearing something that's not truth. I've been listening to you for about three months and I'm about caught up with your teachings that I have been through your videos. I have three preacher's I listen to and your at the top of the list. I praise the Holy Spirit for introducing me to you. Not patting you on the back but you do know the Word and I've learned things from your teachings I've had questions about. What a faithful Father we serve!! Reading through this comment section I feel the urge to share several ways the Lord has so graciously blessed me with. May they also bless all of you. Living in the world today it is easy to feel depressed, discouraged, frustrated, powerless, and exhausted. The following have been very helpful to me: 1. Always reserve time to read the Bible daily. Even only one chapter. Please remember to ask the Holy Spirit to help us staying awake and understand what we read. Faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word of God. His Word is life and healing to all our flesh. We are to read and study God's Word until our spirit is fully soaked through with It and we live It in our daily lives. 2. Identify problems and bring them to God. Lord Jesus said we are to cast all our cares upon Him. 3. Apologize and repent for our mistakes. Forgive others before we can receive blessings. Matthew 6:14. 4. Then instead of keep saying what we have, we pray what we prefer to have by standing on God's promises. For example: instead of keep saying how sick we are, we claim Isaiah 53: 5, I Peter 2: 24, and also rebuke the spirit of illness and all its symptoms. Please always keep in mind who we are: joint-heir with Lord Jesus to God, His Covenant son or daughter; what we have: the authority, majesty, and power in Lord Jesus' Name; what we can do: We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. And have it by heart Ephesians 4: 19. Also please bear in mind that instead of relying on our own will power and human strength, our strength IS IN THE LORD. 5. Praying in the spirit regarding this issue by first asking the Holy Spirit to give the utterance. Pray so until the heaviness is lifted. Reserve time to pray so daily for 1 hour. More if necessary. If all is well, pray in spirit an hour daily anyway. It can be done while walking, doing chores, and lounging. 6. When wondering why we are here I find Ephesians 2:10 has been very helpful to me," For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." 7. Reading the autobiography of George Muller. He wrote it to prove that our God and Father is the same faithful God as He ever was. He used his life to prove it in such a way that even natural eyes can see God is REAL. 8. For those having issue with substance abuse for whatever reason, I recommend the book by the title His Healing Power by Lilian B.Yeomans, M.D. Her victory in this matter is biblical base. Her faith is remarkable. While I love the New Testament with all the amazing gifts, particularly in the Epistles, the Old Testament is wonderfully describing how God's promises and blessings have to be CLAIMED by His children by FAITH. Also, please remember God's instruction to Joshua: Keep my law in front of your eyes morning and night. This way not only our mind is transformed by the Word of God, we are living according to scripture. Lord Jesus said if you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15. We are not His unless we do so. 9. Listening to Reverend Shuttlesworth's sermons/Bible study. I do not put his sermons/Bible study last in order of importance. Instead, what I mean is if we have done the above the clarity of his sermons/Bible study can then be better understood and implemented by us. God is good and His mercies endureth forever. May all of you be abundantly blessed.

I was abused as a child by my minister parents, then married an abuser who also was an ordained minister… I am a committed Christian, I do not live in sin. I graduated Faith School of Theology. I am now 61 and I just cannot take the pain of this trauma anymore. I am deeply depressed. It affects everything. I take antidepressants and I go to therapy. I have gone to the altar so many times to beg for deliverance from this horrible mental pain - it colors your thoughts. It impacts how you evaluate things in your mind - you cannot separate which thoughts are accurate and which are lies. Pray God takes me! I beg Him to just let me go to Heaven NOW! I need to GO - this MUST END! I will stand before God and I know He knows what my life has been. He will understand. This is inhumane. Tell me how to get healed!!! There has been NO relief despite fasting, reading the word and begging God to take me.

I have a question.. because we depend on meds and people to heal us. Did you try to surrender your pain to Jesus, and allow him to break stronghold and demonic covenants and Influence in your life? Because abuse can open doors to the enemy and demonic strongholds, and meds cannot fix a spiritual aspect...if you need to invite the Holy Spirit...and if you haven't allow the Holy Spirit to baptize you in fire and ask God to receive his spirit...allow the Holy Spirit God to work through and heal your trauma, and the word to renew you, because when you meditate on thoughts from the enemy instead of God's word they can affect you for example... If you think your ugly Go to the Psalm verse to combat that thought implanted by the enemy that says your fearfully made Or that your alone Go to the verse where God says I will never leave or forsake you You probably need to renounce and denounce open doors in your life.. basically turn away and close the doors to the sin and trauma. For example if you were abused and rejected say I renounce and denounce rejection... because you may have demons you need to cast out, which plays a part to it but not the whole thing I should clarify because there's trauma and wounds that need to be filled and healed. And if you haven't let go of bitterness towards anyone or even yourself, depression (which I understand may not always be your fault but we sometimes hold onto it), also renounce suicide because it could be a spirit and you need to let it go..let God heal the wounds in your heart because it's spiritual and start denounce and renounce those things and forgive and release anyone who has hurt you Judith ask God to help you forgive those who hurt you. I understand it isn't easy, but it will be worth it because bitterness leads to no forgiveness which is an open door for spirits.

Have you truly wholeheartedly believed? received the atonement Jesus made on ur behalf my friend?? Kjv [ 1 Corinthians 15:1-4] is the gospel of our salvation. Kjv [Ephesians 1:7] Put your faith and trust wholeheartedly in Jesus blood the blood that made atonement for all ur sins. Plead the blood of Jesus over yourself, ur mind and do not give up keep going! U are in a spiritual warfare as all blood bought believers are. I was se*ually abused , regularly beaten, mistreated for years on end , u was used , discarded, rejected and abandoned & believe me it affected my entire life in such an adverse way , I made extremely poor decisions after that I had no idea why and what was wrong with me but the Lord gradually unveiled it all. I got in his word and renewed my mind 📖👈🏼 DAILY for years on end ... I kept on renewing my mind praying and speaking out loud FAITH FILLED WORDS because words are weapons they’re very powerful they can bless and they can curse. Kjv [proverbs 18:21] CONTINUE to trust in Jesus blood atonement u are more then a conqueror in Christ Jesus & he loves u my friend DON’T LET THE DEVIL WIN soon Jesus will rapture us away and the time will come all ur suffering will be over he will create a New Heaven and a New Earth eternally at peace spirit , soul and body just hang on❤️🙏🏼🎚🇦🇺

There are so many of us Christians that beg that God will bring us home now. I'm going through the same thing as you. Medication just numbs, but it doesn't bring us a rich and satisfying life. I beg for forgiveness for being me. I obviously got put together wrong. They diagnose this thing as being a borderline personality disorder. Its like being caught up in a tornado that never stops spinning. Constant changes. I used to be the one that initiated the changes. Now, the universe is setting up one situation after the other that doesn't work out in my favor. Or at least that's what seems like when God has a very different plan that I have. I ask for guidance to find that plan. I don't know what to do except apply to as many job openings as possible and pray that the rest will fall into place.

Tiff I am tormented by what you say, my beloved daughter Lindsey was very very sick mentally ill and given many medications that interacted and my daughter had a complete mental breakdown,we had lost her Daddy to a sudden shocking death with Lindsey there trying to give her Daddy CPR me calling 911 ,after this Lindsey would come to me sometimes seeming to think she was her Daddy, she would say "What's wrong June? It's me Tommy?" She began to believe we were being spied on ,that even neighbors were breaking in our house,her doctors just gave more medicine,she even went to police and begged them to lock her up, she was desperate for help all let her down,she hung herself ,in her phone I found prayers the night before asking God to please help the people who were tormenting us,in her mind,she asked that he bring them to his light,save them so they would not need to hurt mentally ill and elderly people, she begged his forgiveness I can't believe God would punish his child who was so terribly sick in her mind

I'm really sorry what happened, I think God has mercy in certain degrees, however I believe suicide is sin. For example people do it and cry out to God at the Last second and he takes them home. I believe God has a purpose and wants us not to die pre maturely or before our time, however he extends mercy to some people. 😊 The only sin that God doesn't forgive is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit

He was mentally incapacitated like I've never seen. Broke my heart & spirit. The Lord introduced Himself to me in 96 when I was 23. I ran for 27 years. He let me live. Back then I was still backsliding. But my dad came to me asking about Jesus. I tried. He never wanted to hear anything about the Bible til he was broken & humbled as it was for me as so many others. Many are living as shut-ins due to medical conditions. Their church has forgotten them. Their family has forgotten them. Many have lost their friends to death, or to moving out of their area. They are just holding on and looking forward to the plans God has for them in eternity. Please remember to pray for these each day, that they will feel the love of Jesus surrounding them when they have little to no human contact left on this earth. One of my friends, a Psychologist, lost 5 of his clients to suicide recently who had been suffering from Chronic Pain Conditions. They just couldn’t take living as shut-in with severe pain every day. Ray, there is no pep talk or good “wishes” that will bring you out of this, only the power of Jesus can do this as you know. I struggle as well, wondering why my mind finds me here, why everything seems to be gone, why it seems God can’t hear my prayer or if something is broken in me and I can’t hear his response. The overwhelming feeling is, if I don’t go through this, how can I have a testimony about this and the shear desperation to stay alive, how can I speak to the ones that will say “you have no idea how I feel”. What you’re going through is for growth of your testimony, this is for Gods will and plan. Rejoice and know God is working on you right now. Our prayer in the Name of Jesus is heard by God the first time. After we cast this matter to God we claim good health based on Isaiah 53:5 and I Peter 2:24, Mark 11:23 and 24, and start praising God that we BELIEVE we RECEIVE our good health or ease and comfort in our whole body. This is not denying the pain or symptoms, this is denying the RIGHT of the pain or symptoms to exist in the body. Also read out loud the Bible verses regarding healing/wellness several times a day. Words are seeds, reading them helps them to be planted in our hearts. Then we begin to think according to God's promises. 2. I love Tim a lot. I got to tell a story about my mother though because it may give some families hope. First of all let me quote a verse from 2 Samuel 1:23. “ Saul and Jonathan so wonderful and dear , together in life, together in death...” so basically it tells us that they went to the same place, and Jonathan went to be with the Lord, so it means Saul did as well. There is only one sin that is not forgiven by God is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Everyone dies with unrepentant sins, but does it mean that God will reject a born again believer? Absolutely not! Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ! No powers no principalities, no demons, no devils! Mercy of Christ is enough for everyone! Does it mean it’s ok to do it? Absolutely not! Would I gamble with it!? No! But listen to my story.......I grew up in a Soviet Union, my mother was an atheist who got saved with a lightning bolt experience, her life was transformed! My father died when I was 12 and he got saved before his death. Years down the road my mom remarried after many many years and we both ended up in United States. We had 3 suicides in our immediate family before my mom got saved and after my mom’s salvation she was told by a preacher that he felt that there was a strong warlock in a family tree and a curse of suicide was on our family. Let me add that after my mom got saved she sacrificed everything for God, including her job. She had a university degree and was a teacher of English. Because she became a Christian she couldn’t teach anymore, so she picked up a mop and was mopping floors in a furniture store with a university degree. When my dad died she heard the voice of God telling her not to be afraid and that now God will take care of her instead of a man. For 12 years God helped us financially via a Christian family in London. In United States my mom had hard time sleeping and was prescribed sleeping pills to which over the years she became addicted. She thought freedom desperately, but ultimately she took her life by suicide. 2 weeks before she died I saw a dream , in a dream me and my husband and my son were working in the yard and I looked up and there was a window in heaven. There was a path in a snow there and my mom was walking down the path. I looked at her and said, mom, why did you do it? She said, I don’t think like that anymore, now I know my salvation is completed in heaven. I did not know what to make of it and told about it to-my husband. My mom was under major demonic attack for the next 2 weeks, it’s a long story but she said horrible things, believed she was rejected by God and never saved. I feel I was standing on a path of a train about to be hit and I couldn’t move. One day she hung herself. I was devastated. I only wanted to know if she made it. Then my husband reminded me of my dream I had 2 weeks before. I said, but why snow, snow is so cold. He said because it says if your sins are as red as scarlet I will make them as white as snow. God sent me this dream before hand to comfort me when needed. When I was calling my step dad who found her hanging and who was fighting with her a lot before her death because he didn’t understand how to deal with her in such a state, my husband told me not to blame him for anything. I was tempted to, because before my mom hung herself, she first cut her stomach and he told her in frustration next time do it right. When I called him he was sobbing, saying he killed her and he is going to hell. I told him, no, it’s not your fault, there is enough mercy at the throne of Christ for you. As soon as I said it I had peace that surpasses all understanding. I needed to say it for myself, Jesus was right there and I knew my mom made it. That’s my story. Right now my husband is battling diabetes and at risk of losing his vision. The eye injections that keep him seeing are killing his kidneys. I am praying and fasting and nothing. I feel like God doesn’t care, I know it’s not true, but I feel desperate. Please pray for my sweet husband.

God’s Word Is Good Medicine He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalms 107:20(KJV) Many make the mistake of substituting belief in healing for the actual taking of God’s medicine - His Word. They say, ‘I believe in healing’ without actually taking the medicine. How much good can medicine do for us if we don’t take it? God’s Word is His medicine - it’s a healing agent, just as natural medicine is a healing agent or catalyst. In other words, the medicine itself contains the capacity to produce healing. Inherent within God’s Word is the capacity, the energy, the ability, and the nature to effect healing in your body. So how do we take it? It is only as God’s Word gets in the midst of your heart and stays there that it produces healing in your body. Head knowledge alone won’t do. The Scriptures have to penetrate to your spirit through meditation - attending, hearing, looking, muttering, musing, pondering - to produce healing in your body. But once the Word really penetrates your heart, it will surely bring health to all your flesh. Let the Word of God penetrate deep within your heart today. Prayer: God, I choose today to meditate on Your healing Word. With Your Word deep in my heart, I know that Your healing will fill my body. (Meditate and read daily these healing scripture...Isaiah 53:5, Psalm 103:1-5, 1 Peter 2:24, Proverbs 4:20-24. God's word is medicine.

Prayers headed your way! I’d trade healthiness with your husband in a heart beat. I’d give my life for husband to be well, to take care of his family with no issues. I’m 41 no kids pretty handsome lol no kids going through a stupid divorce! People go through way bigger problems and infidelities then my small issues. 10 years down the drain! Thank you, Mr. Shuttlesworth. Though they are not direct laws, these examples are relevant when it comes to suicide. While Jesus was fasting, the devil approached and tempted Jesus to jump from a high mountain place and used the scripture for Jesus to jump. In other words, Satan wanted Jesus to commit suicide. Satan is the father of suicide because he came to steal, kill, and destroy. "You must not test the Lord your God" Jesus answered. Jesus did not jump because he rejected Satan's words and the methods of suicide. Also, Paul prevented a soldier from committing suicide. This soldier feared for his life because Paul was released/escaped from prison by the angels. Paul cried out "Do not hurt yourself." Paul stopped the soldier from committing suicide because this was not God's will. Not only was this soldier saved but also his entire family was saved; that was God's will.
