Thank you for the comparison at around the 11:00 minute mark. I've been welding for a few years, still have much to learn, and just entered my first foray into the world of TIG welding. I got the hang of walking the cup with no filler (trying to build consistency before I tackle adding filler in). After much frustration I can now get a half-decent result. My current beads look like #1, and it was insightful to hear how it's what most people's beads look when starting out. I'm certainly no exception! Thanks for telling us what to do if we want to change the appearance of the finished weld, I'll definitely be trying out the different weave patterns next time I get a chance. Cheers

Just got my Pressure ticket in TIG about 3 months ago and have now been working at my new Gig for the Union for about 2 months. We are doing Sched 10 Stainless Steel and I had no fucking idea what I was doing.. lol. I strictly learned how to pass that test Through this channel, believe that or not. I practiced for 3 hrs at the Hall then I went in the following Friday and passed the test, beginners luck I gues... Since being on this project I have progressed a lot and mainly due to the other experienced Welder being super rad and helping me out so much. I am proud to say I am finally walking the cup on every joint now. Does it look perfect? No, but it's certainly getting a lot better. Thanks dude for everything you do, you kinda help change my life. Love this shit.

Practice different speeds. And get some graph paper and score sections to feed the filler rod at different speeds. Bout to get this money y'all! Thanks WeldTube! You guys are the best!
