I remember one or two of the tigers acted out on the chairs, and he ended up whipping them and threatening them, because they wouldn't do what he was wanting and kept growling at him. For his safety I can see why, but that still gives no right that this circus even existed..

Most of their wild cousins can hardly have enough food as they do. Human care provide them the best conditions to survive, and that is why animals under human care have longer lifespan than wild animals. It is hard to imagine how miserable it would be when a predator in the wild lost its ability to catch its prey. They usually succumb to starvation or serious wound due to fightings with other animals. And that is why the lives of predators are so short and violent in the wild, because resources such as food and territory are very limited in the nature. The future of wild animals is very bleak due to loss of habitat, poaching, etc. Animals under human care are immune from those dangers, so their survival is assured as long as enough care is provided.
