You made a really great habitat for your pet tigers It's like a hole new world within your room I really like it how did you manage to catch those tigers though?
@buttholebzerker8 жыл бұрын

I don't see many of these in rural Ohio, but when I do they're damn-near impossible to catch. Insanely quick on the ground, and with the ability to fly if things go bad. Very cool predatory beetles nonetheless.

how are there tiger beetles in America, aren't they Japanese
@tauruswhitehead37296 жыл бұрын

So are these social to a degree? They don't seem to mind one another's presence in the habitat.

@TheHawkeye07258 жыл бұрын
Remarkable.
@seancheng3312 жыл бұрын
First of all, you need live crickets. Tiger beetle will not be interested in insects with no movement. Secondly, don't feed the beetle oversize insects. The beetle might be intimidated by them. If you did everything right,then it could be just the case of old age and the beetle is too weak to chase its prey.

to scale, they run upwards of 400 MPH. Crazy shit.
@memesarentfunny22485 жыл бұрын
well no... if you scaled up the beetles they wouldn't maintain the efficient mass to power ratio, not even close. Its the same fallacy as comparing human strength to that of an ant, an ant is only that strong because it doesnt have to waste so much energy on its own mass. That's why most small things move relatively quickly and all large things universally move slowly by comparison.
@memesarentfunny22483 жыл бұрын
@KAHANU ERMEYAS-TULU lmao im sorry your mother never said i love you and your father never hugged you but yes, its true that insects are only so amazing because they are so small. Ever notice how nothing large is fast? And if it is "fast" its nowhere near 400mph and cant maintain high speeds for more then a few seconds? Dont you think its evolutionarily beneficial to be able to run fucking 400mph? I understood completely what he was saying, but doesnt seem like your mind could handle what I was.
