stupidity is the human intervention to save the cubs in this scenario, this is nature and somehow this is how it works , it is pure stupidity if people intervene, if they picked the cubs and feed it and keep it in zoo or any place then you will say why they keep it , this is not tiger inhabitat and they abuse the tiger, the cub once become adult it will no be able to hunt and live in forest, there are a lot to say about people intervention.

Its not nature. I see nothing natural about this scenario. Lions and tigers don't live together in the wild and they don't raise each others cubs. The cub needs help because it is not a natural situation. If the guy let that cub die then that will be immoral. Its been 6 years since this was posted so I wonder what happened.

If you watched the whole special, you would know that he was already raising 3 cubs. The mom had had a litter before and just abandonment them so he was raising them. This was her second litter and he didn't want to interfere because he wants the tigers to be wild.

He's an asshole. He has these tiger's living on a place he manages, he actually pushed the mating of the two tigers and introduced the lioness into that family, the least he can do is save the cub and give it to another facility in order to save it. And the fact that the cub was female is even more important because she could've given birth to more tiger cubs as an adult. Most comments are concerned with why he's not helping the cub. He clearly states that he doesn't want to hand raise a tiger, he wants a self sufficient tiger that's been raised and trained by its mother, so that it can survive on it's own in the wild. Yes, he helped Savannah not by raising her, but by putting her in a wild litter den with a tiger who still raised her in the wild. I'm sure if there was another den he could put runt in he would.

I would have saved this little cub. She's doing everything that she can to get food (looking for help from her father, a lioness, a watering hole, even chewing on a bone), it's not like she's not trying to survive, she's being resourceful, she just can't physically push her siblings out of the way to get more nutrition. It was probably like this since birth, the others getting to the teet first, not letting her have much or any milk, which allows them to grow bigger faster, leaving her behind, furthering her weakness.

It's the wild, there are only 2 options: he managed to survive or he died. If you want, you have a video of a misfit lion cub far more hurtfull because his own mother didn't want him to feed on her.The pride even tried to lost him several times but he hang on. He had to show he could keep up despite not having the right to such for several says and as he did it, the mother finally accept him. If there is no part 2 of the video, the chances the cub did not survive are high.

pigeon parents make sure both siblings get fed.If there are three, which is not natural, they will still keep distributing food until all have been fed. I suspect there is something more than malnutrition causing this cub not to thrive. The malnutrition is rooted in the small size, which is certainly caused by some other pathology
