In 1 he learns it from Komaki in 2 life or death against the tigers 3 idk in 4 when you reach lv 15 and grab other abilities and in 5 he learns it from Komaki's grandson and then he gets it upgraded later in Kamurocho

0: Majima has the chance to learn but doesn't like that counter so he creates his own. Kiryu K1: Meets Komaki and learns it for the first time. K2: Knows it, but doesn't use it. It comes out from the back corner of his mind after a refreshing acupuncture treatment. 3: Meets Komaki again, has forgotten it, and most of his skillset by enjoying beach view. Remembers it after Komaki's apprentice uses it against him. 4: Remembers it (since he uses it vs. Saejima), but we need to unlock it. 5: Understandably forgets since he hasn't fought for around 3 years. Learns it from Komaki Grandson, but Komaki helps him perfect it. 6: Acupuncture restores memories, again.

@@Shade497 akiyama’s variant of the tiger drop is a front kick. Majima’s is an upward elbow unarmed and a stab when in mad dog style. I like that they altered it to fit the characters better than to just copy and paste kiryu’s move that he learned through komaki

The tiger drop is essentially a guaranteed win. Usually players who are you tubers don’t use it to provide variety. Besides, a real yakuza respect the bosses and never cheeses them😤

I was the opposite i was almost entirely Crane, only using tiger style for smaller fights with 1-5 enemies. I think I'll switch it up on my replay tho

I just used it simply how the game tells me. Crane for groups of enemies and Tiger strictly for 1v1 fights; boss fights

opposite for me. used crane for crowds and tiger for 1v1s. crane combos dont get blocked too often

Tiger has immediate guard break, poise while attacking, Flux Fissure, and charge attacks. Crane has better aoe damage, but really only if you're using EX boost heavy combo or the running heavy. In addition, you'll get staggered out of combos quite easily in Crane without the EX boost poise. There are times where I don't even bother switching from Tiger because I know two or three chained charged heavies can take out mooks faster than Crane's widespread attacks lol
