Tiger Flight September 27 2024 with new DJI Action 5 and Mic2 for in flight commentary

Took what I thought would be a short flight but found a little lift and turned it into a nice thermalling flight. This was a test of the new DJI Action 5 camera in Standard Field Of View while also using the DJI Mic2 for live direct capture sound for the commentary. I know. I talk a lot. Anyway at least here you can see how the mic sounds with a lot of wind and other sounds in an adventure sports environment. I think it did really well.
The Action 5 pairs with the Mic2 using Bluetooth so it has a limited range, but the sound quality seems pretty good for a Bluetooth mic into an action camera. listen for yourself and see what you think.

Nice video. One time I landed just few feet out of the swamp to the left of where you landed. I let the wing fall back and I did not realize those berry bushes were there. Half the wing was on it but luckily was able to remove it without any issues with help from couple of others pilots :)

just subscribed, first time ive seen this, gripping to watch, but definitely not wouldn't think about doing it, will stick to seeing similar scenery on my drone controller

@@streetsofbath Well at least you got a feeling of what it’s like from this! It’s not for everyone. There are several places where you could do a tandem depending on where you are. Then you could experience it while having a professional managing the actual flying. (Not me, but someone!)
