The gun was a 3 inch gun (76.2mm). What made it better than the 75mm isn't the extra mm, it was a longer round with much more gunpowder propelling it and the longer barrel. That makes it higher velocity.

Effectively yes. The M10 has a "76mm M7" cannon just down to how the tank destroyer designations worked in the US at the time, but they are the same cannon.

Not the same cannon. The M7 3-Inch (76.2mm) gun on the M10 was an older model, shorter barrel, gun that had a slightly heavier casing then M1 and M2 76mm guns found on Shermans and M18 Hellcats, who had longer barrels and better accuracy.

Hey man, I believe the difference between the 75mm gun and the 76mm had more to do with the shell being a lot longer, it had more propellant so was higher velocity. On paper 1mm doesn't make much sense as to why it'd matter but that extra charge in the shell really makes a big difference.

That is the reason while Ill still use the panther most of the time. The panther has a smaller weak point versing any 76 mm tank from the allies. If a tiger has a competent crew then yes tiger always wins, but as you can see in this vid most if not all tiger users have this mentality that they are invincible.

remember you can only have 1 mg nest at a time, and it takes like 15secs to build and is easily destroyed. it has it weaknesses

@@blacky2397 find a nice second story window to build it in across the street from a poi, for example you can watch the clock tower church almost entirely by this method by building so you can see through the double doors

Yeah all shermans had a stabilizer. Non have in the game and it would help them fight german tanks. At least the M4A2 and the 76 dhould get this to have some merit in cities.

you can still he pumas to the side and some times the front, you can also kill a pz lll N with a he shot to the top of the turret below the commanders hatch with a M4A2

6:47 I believe the 76mm's HE doesn't have the same effect on the Puma as the 75. Found that out after using the M10.

The most rewarding camping spot for Axis is the cliff on the right (for Axis, or left if you are Allies, right here kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZKbgYR_ls6ijrs). It's difficult to scale the cliffs an route to there, and sometimes, objective dependent, is not possible due to gray zone (I tried it once not noticing that the gray zone has changed and I couldn't pass a certain point anymore). It's not that easy for Allied planes to knock you out as you have some cover from house and bunker, so they have to get the right approach to bomb. It's better than left side, where your top armor is exposed while climbing, you are in the open for bombs and rockets, and more often infantry climbs to knock you out.

All good, but what really sucks is that the tiger cannon can be destroyed very easily and with the new repair mechanic it is almost impossible to win a fire duel unless I kill with the first shot. Unfortunately, the tiger's fat pipe is rarely missed.

I have made it a bit of a habit of shooting them down using the Jumbo and the Sherman 76mm machine guns, but it's no fun getting caught on that beach when a Panther turns up on the hills at the back, I lost my Sherman 76mm three times to it, just couldn't get into a position to fire before he destroyed me.

I've found the piat is useless against the tiger. I've been right on the side with no angles and could not get a pen anywhere. I'm one level away from the bazooka. Hopefully that will make a difference.

PIAT can pen the lower half of the Tiger, but it's fair inconsistent, especially at range. Bazooka might be able to as well, but I can't imagine it's much more consistent anyway.

Hey Quadro and Quadro viewers, I have a question. So I'm relatively new and I'm having a blast with the game honestly, but I kinda want to get Battlepass Unique Weapon. The question is, if I get a Unique weapon that is available in two different campaigns (lets take the Mkb 35/III for example, which is available on Berlin and Moscow), will I be able to buy it once, and be able to use it in both Campaigns. Hope this isn't blatantly obvious, and thanks for any replies. P.S. love the work Quadro.

No, you cannot. Unless the specific gun is available in both campaigns, you cannot use them both if you only buy one. You have to buy that gun in both campaigns for you to be able to use that gun in both of those campaigns. Hope that helps

I was playing on Germans other day and we couldn't get past first objective cause of some Sherman's, I did everything I could with my panzer 3, and I was shooting pointblank at one point after getting cornered down an ally while my friend was hitting it with the puma form the side and we could only laugh as they kept massacring our team and my tank, it was killed but then a jumbo one would appear.

no offense and i play tiger a lot i know tigers are very easy to kill actually if you play warthunder you might know the tiger biggest strength is its gun wich has GREAT post pen so basically its a battle of who sees who first but be sure if a decent tiger palyer sees you first usually you will die also its REALLY easy to kill 76 cause of thier weak front amour but if you do try to kill a tiger (and i dont knwo why im doing this but ) if u wanna kill a tiger all you have to do is trow a explosion pack at the top side of the tank of the hull cause thats where the ammo is and that usually one shots a tiger also if your in a m8 scot you can oneshot tigers so thats funny (yes you actually can) also to all the jumbo players watch out and cover your mg port casue tigers can oneshot you if it hits (also if u ever see a white tiger with the 18th panzer devision decel you can make sure that i wont miss i see you first any questions from newbies they can just ask i know how to kill every tank in enlisted most effisently so yh also sorry if thats too much text also nice vidio cant wait to see you on the battlefield (in game name is lolprogame pretty boring i know) EDIT: i know no one is probrably gunna see this but the true tigers bain is rockets
