Tiger jumps to catch meat, filmed in slow-motion

I was a volunteer in 2012 in a South African refuge, and one of the animal we were taking care of was a couple of Tigers. They were getting very excited every time we would feed them.
This refuge rescue orphaned, hurt or disabled animals from the national parcs and give them a second, safe life, in their facilities.
As it's being fed a Tiger jump to grab it's food.
If you watch closely you'll see that the Tiger actually jumps higher than the fence of the enclosure.

For those wondering why the fence is so short, that little part at the top of the fence that extends diagonally inward is actually sufficient to keep them from jumping over. And no, it's not electrified, it's just a clever psychological trick. Basically, the way a tiger's brain works, they literally can't tell the difference between that little part at the top of the fence, and something that extends completely over them like a ceiling. So even though they technically COULD easily clear that fence if they knew better, because of this little trick of psychological engineering, they'll never try it. You'll actually see these type of fences in zoos and animal parks everywhere because apparently this trick works on quite a few different types of animals

I've seen chain link fences with similar inward horizontal borders for domestic cats. You can prevent them from jumping the fences with those so they can go out freely in a fenced area like a backyard. Amazing that something similar works on tigers.

Those Tigers were underfed and female at probably 290lbs roughly but still it's impressive. Only the Male adult alpha's reach 500lbs, and only Siberian Tigers. Bengal Tigers are about 250-350 lbs at their biggest.
