Been a huge fan of Tiger over half my life and being the same age, have followed him throughout his career and he’s the reason I’m an avid golfer today. Great that he’s able to participate but him winning at this venue, at his age and having played almost no competitive golf outside the majors, is near impossible. I mean, anything is possible but it would take one of the greatest achievements in sports history and I’m talking Miracle on Ice or Francis Quimet winning the US Open back in the 30’s kind of crazy for it to happen.

Come on Tiger you did not even make the cut at the PGA Championship which was playing much easier than Pinehurst will be this week. If Tiger is only going to play the majors and no other tournaments then nobody should have any expectations of him making a cut or being in contention. Seems like he is not in reality anymore when he talks about winning here, lol. First make the cut that would be an achievement at this point in his limited season. He could shoot an 85 tomorrow.

In a Tiger Woods comments section, there will always be folks like you predicting his disaster and others predicting he’s going to shock the world. Going off recent history, I’d say there’s very little reason to think he has any chance of contending. But because he’s actually playing, there’s always going to be the “who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️” factor as well. Certainly didn’t see Phil winning the PGA in 2021 or Tom Watson almost winning the Open in 2009 at 59 but yeah, highly unlikely.

I have a great idea..... Instead of letting the field practice for days leading up to the start of the tournament; getting the feel for everything, including the speed of the greens.... Have them just show up on Thursday, hit a bucket of balls, and go play the game.... They are exceptional players, but I guarantee that scoring would be totally different on all four days..... I'm so tired of 21 under being the winners score Sunday evening.... Something needs to change, whether it's the dialing back of the clubs, balls, or just making the courses diabolical...... What do you think....?

There won't be anyone shooting 21 under this weekend. The winner will do well to get to 10 under on that course. Its very tough. I agree though, I don't like to see the scoring too high either. These are the best players in the world and they should be challenged/tested more than they do.
