The greatest Golfswing of all time!
@ram0666 Жыл бұрын
Obviously Tiger had great swing but far from the greatest. He is not the young Tiger in this video and you can tell not just by his age but by the less violent nature of his action. Tiger's repeated violent swings year after year, which helped him launch golf balls further than his peers, was also the reason that his body started to break down. Nobody talks about that because its better for his legacy if a few accidents is what slowed him down. The reality is that before the drama he was breaking down physically and years of repeating his powerful and often violent swing is what really slowed him down. Tiger was great for lots of reasons not just his swing. His mental toughness and ability to intimidate his opponents in the biggest moments are every bit as impressive and often underrated as his primary strengths.The swing is more sexy but very seldom does Tiger get recognized as having the best swing.His killer instinct is what will be talked about for dominating golf. This is even more rare than his physical skills. Guys like DJ, Rory, JT all rival Tigers ability to maul a golf ball but all 3 combined couldnt match his instincts and ability to grind.

@tmax80293 жыл бұрын
Not exactly the same. Jack had the reverse C after his finish. Tigers body movement at the finish was forward. However, their golf balls finished pretty damn close to the hole 🕳 🏌🏿♂️⛳️
@TimesUp777 Жыл бұрын
@@tmax8029 Jack had the reverse C finish in his younger years, but he changed his swing in the later years so that his hands weren't so high in the backswing which created less of a reverse C finish. He made that change because it was an easier to swing that way and it wasn't so hard on his back.

@maximuspayne73543 жыл бұрын
Yes, its two angles. Side and front views filmed separately not simultaneously. This swing was developed over many many years and is not something you can master in a few days let alone months. It requires flexibility and strength at all the right places to go through the motion Tiger does here. But what I've learned from this swing is 1. Developing the ability to clear the right hip and stay behind the ball at impact is crucial to stay in the slot as long as possible to get as much perfect contact with the face of the club. Eliminates the club head path from wobbling up, down and sideways for a stable club face impact getting straighter drives. 2. Tiger is able to stay over the ball bending that left knee forward and in slightly while keeping the right leg almost at a constant position. This requires great flexibility and strength. 3. Right hand thumb and index finger are almost pinching grip which allows him to have better control of the grip keeping club more stable. Lastly, the right and left wrist rotate just after impact with ball which allows him to maintain full control of club and keeping it stable with a unhindered follow through for an easy and elegant finish. I no longer duck hook it but am getting straighter and longer drives more consistently and now I've started to experiment with Bryson DeChambeau golf grips. Early tests cause pop ups but go straight and high. More tweaking needed but they feel nice in the hands. One more thought. Tiger's swing was developed during the time when club head sizes were much smaller so we have to remember he developed this swing with that in mind. He's more used to teeing it lower even with the modern drivers he uses now. His down swing is more hitting down than up but he has made adjustments for tee height depending on what kind of shot he wants to hit. One can only hope to fine tune your swing but to never master this swing. One thing for sure is my swing is a lot better looking and straighter.
@TimesUp777 Жыл бұрын
Tiger has changed his swing many times over the years and you don't have to alter your swing just because you are using a small headed driver or a big headed driver. Every club is literally the same swing and the ball position is really the only difference when playing different clubs and shots.

I am sure every player would learn without any explanation.
@TimesUp777 Жыл бұрын
I didn't explain very much, but NO most players don't learn much without an explanation. Players that start out without getting lessons learn bad habit's which are hard to change later so getting explanations about the swing are important. The guy with the original comment was a little much though.

I’ve come to realize Tiger is a lot taller than I am, his arms are quite a bit away from his body throughout his swing. When I do that I have very little consistency. Rory’s swing seems a better fit for my body type and height
