Final round coverage from the 129th Open Championship at St Andrews. A special occasion, the Millennium Open at St Andrews, deserved a special performance and Tiger Woods delivered it to perfection, establishing himself as an irresistible force in the game.
Having won the US Open at Pebble Beach by 15 strokes, he went on to win The Open by eight strokes in equally dominant fashion in front of a record gallery of over 230,000 for the week.

Please post every round. I cherish each Open and find it incredible to be able to go back and watch like this. I know I'm not the only one who would watch all four rounds several times through.

It's great I agree. "The Master's" KZbin channel posts the entire 4th day of every tournament going back decades also.

To think that he was fresh off of a 15 shot victory at the US Open at Pebble Beach coming into this. And would follow this with a successful defense of the PGA at Valhalla, and also the following year's Masters. What an absolutely phenomenal run of golf.

And often overlooked, he also won the Players Championship aka 'The 5th Major' in 2001 two weeks before that Masters.

Between the 2000 US Open and the 2001 Masters Tiger dominated. Only Tiger and Bobby Jones have done a 4 in a row grand slam. Amazing

@@leerobinson590 Amateurs were more highly regarded at that time than professionals. The idea of the grand slam was sort of invented when Bobby Jones won his (it was only called a grand slam after the fact), but nobody considers the British Amateur a major event anymore (if they ever did).

I remember watching this as a 20 year old back then. I gotta tell ya! Tiger looked as invincible as you could ever be..... still the benchmark for greatness! He was just unbelievable back then. I must add I've been watching some of the old Open uploads on KZbin and i gotta tell ya, Watson was probably the greatest links golfer ever.... Nicklaus is up there too. Thanks Tiger for the amazing journey 🙏🏾

imo, one of Tiger's problems with driver is he always swung at 100% instead of 95. Better to be 300 yards in the fairway than 320 in the trees.

Can anyone explain to me why Tiger Woods is so OCD with the photographers? I have never seen any other pro so regularly acting as if he was distracted by them. It's very strange that he supposedly gets distracted by such things.

Because the level of cameras on him was unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Probably had 10x the number of people taking pictures throughout his career and a lot of them took pics right in the middle of his swing.

John Williamson bro it’s a windswept seaside links it’s absolutely gorgeous. Would much rather play golf here than at some inland parkland course where the turf is green, the wind never blows and the only hazards are trees. Links golf is more authentic than parkland golf, which is a bastardization although just a mild one
