Woods's fascination with Special Operations played an even bigger role than many people realize, more so than even this very good Short points out. An ESPN Magazine story on this very subject mentioned that Tiger's nagging knee injury that would be at the center of his fall from dominance was actually sustained preparing himself for BUD/S, the notoriously rigorous SEAL training for which he was preparing by running many miles in combat boots, as well as going thru Shoot House routines with active duty SEALs in preparation for enlisting in Naval Special Warfare. Also cost him so much of his health. His back and knee problems. Obviously before the car crash injuries.

Ya could have played high level maybe even 80-90 championships thru his 50s into his 60s golf is not hard on the body at all

@@politicallycorrectnpc5698 depending on your playing style, golf can be very hard on the body. Just look at Bryson dechambeau: he probably won’t be able to walk when he’s 50.

Oh yeah like going to Iraq or Afghanistan is any safer lol he probably would be dead by now or missing limbs

@@politicallycorrectnpc5698 I know someone who get spine surgery cause nerve pinch or smtg I forgot. The reason of the injury, the golf motion. Either he fucks up the motion or it put strains on your body and can fuck you up

A few weeks of training is NOT what causes his injuries. I was Army Infantry, I assure it has nothing to do with it

Sorry Tiger the Seals don’t accept candidates in their 30’s, I believe 28 is the cut off, unless you have a waiver from a higher up. A waaaaay higher up.

@@dagoat42bruh68 thank you, this attitude that cause he cheated on his wife that somehow takes away from his greatness is ridiculous, that shit happened over a decade ago Plenty of men would do the same given they were in his position, they just like to act all high and mighty cause in reality they don't even have the option to cheat so there's nothing actually virtuous about them
