My deceased mother was a huge fan of Kim Mulkey when she played..... I used to go outside to turn the tv antennae on Saturday when I was 10 yrs old so she could watch Tech's games from Crowley, La. I respect coach Mulkey a lot. She DOES what is best for HER and she practices what she preaches! To bring back Alexis was huge! Not many coaches would do that. Her heart is pure gold. The Tigers left no doubt that their performance was national championship worthy as they played their most complete game, by far, in the 2023 tournament! Congrats to the Tigers on their huge rally and fast arrival back on the scene in women's college hoops! No surprise considering the job Kim Mulkey did at Baylor! They played a tremendous fourth quarter on both ends but then of course Alexis Morris couldn't resist afterwards by throwing unnecessary public shade at Iowa for the way they played defense! Because sometimes trash talking can bite back! They're was absolutely nothing disrespectful about the way Iowa D'd up the Gamecocks, playing off their guards and making them one dimensional because of South Carolina's known inconsistency from the perimeter! And it worked, the Gamecocks went 4-20 from deep last night so how is that disrespectful! Not only was the comment unnecessary but it was a ridiculous assumption considering this season that LSU wasn't that much consistently better from the perimeter! I just hope Alexis Morris' unwarranted slap at the Hawkeyes doesn't come back on her tomorrow! Plus if your gonna talk smack make sure it has a leg to stand on!
