I resonate so much with Bobby on his relationship with his dad. My dad was there to provide for my sister and I, but he never once made me feel like he wanted to bond with me. His temper would cause him to bare-butt spank us for doing something as little as accidently spilling something on the table or counter. After him and my mom got divorced he got with someone else and does all this traveling and fun stuff with her family and children. All the stuff he never did with us. I try not to let it get to me, but I can't help but wonder why he never wanted to spend time with us?

I have no memories of mine other than violence toward my mom in my childhood and feeling sad for him in my young adulthood before he passed away ten years ago at 52. I want to believe he had a great heart with unaddressed demons, just like myself. But I strive to do better. It doesn't matter if it's the funniest pod this ep, because when it comes to father and son relationships, that shit hits me hard... always. Love you guys ❤️
