How does those new deere skidders ride back in the 80s we had a deere 640d 2 648d skidders a bell cutter and a 544c lift to load logs on the trucks never. Been around the new ones

Great video. Bit of a bummer about yet another hurricane. Would've been good to see a few drags taken up where Tiggycat went to compact ground first. In video it looked as though where the JD went it was main track that had better compaction already. In steeper stuff I'll get operator to go up n down a couple times empty to give skidder better footing

Deere should have been slower, sandy ground already tilled up by skidding over it. It’s exactly the same ground…the bushes gave the Tigercat even more grip also 🤷🏻‍♂️

Moisture in the dirt will change the outcome, the same path ,with a stop watch ,however it is a fun skill, don't believe hitching them together is a good thing to do, those machines catch trouble daily.

Actually the 620 is a 748 the 630 is like a 848 and when John deere made the 948 tigercat made the 632 but my opinion is john deere it's quite and smooth only thing is I wish john deere had a cutter and grapple like tigercat

Tigercat didn't have diffs locked operator mistake you can see front end start dsncing back and forth that indicated that in fact the diff wa not locked had it bedn it would havd hauled differently do thf video again better operator for the citty and see
