Keep in mind that the real AA-12 has almost no recoil yet most video games portray it to have massive recoil. It was also never mass produced, so seeing it in widespread use in a military is unlikley.

I don't know why people keep calling Alibi, and Maestros shotgun the AA-12. It's not, it's a fictional Italia automatic shotgun exclusive to that universe. Similar to how Lions "Vector" is also a fictional weapon. There is no real vector chambered in .308.

Huh, didn't consider that, it just looks a little different. Maybe modified... But I can say with absolute certainty that the .308 Vector is not real. The fictional engineers who made that must not have realized that the name Vector comes from the fact that the weapon re"vectors" the recoil downward so it's considerably more controllable than if the recoil was normal. So Lions gun has far more recoil than it should based on the functionality of the rifle. Completely off topic, but I just needed to get it out there because it annoys me to high hell.

Not really Atchisson assault shotgun, but Auto Assault-12. The original Atchisson design was traced back to 1972, long before Military Police Systems bought the patent in 2005 to further develop the weapon into the AA-12 that we know.

Yes, it's in No More Room in Hell (a mod) and an ArmA II DLC, and in some older games like Operation Flashpoint and Vietcong 2. Not really enough for a comparison video.
