it's not good is it !! like ya said Scott there isn't any consistency at all, these big wins every now & then its 'torture' watching (when I can) but I follow the score pinned on my phone screen.😮

In preseason people were in different camps as to which free agents to pursue, Bellinger, Chapman, JD Martinez, Teoscar Martinez, Tigers went after nobody and were proud of it. All of these players would be top two hitters on Tigers. If hitting coache(s) are not added or replaced during this season that would tell me they are about status quo, not hurting feelings and not being a serious organization. Tork, Meadows,Malloy ,Jung and more all need new outooks and ideas. Know that bigtime 24 yr olds need to destroy AAA not just do good. As for Lange, If you google Lat strain ,a main cause for it is poor technique, Langes mechanics were improved some but still some recoil instead of driving to target with a leg drive emphasis and not an upper body emphasis.

Tigers took a wait and see on young players, hoping Tork, Keith, Green, Vierling could carry the load . They can't, so it's on to Plan B.

The Tigers are in free-fall and the tough questions are only going to get tougher from here. Not a serious contender, you can barely call it entertainment. Based on the way this year's team was constructed, it doesn't inspire any confidence for the future.

With this line up, we make ANY pitcher with a 5.00ERA or less an ace.....Point #2 check out the ops of Atlanta's starting 9 as this this what the Tigers must work towards in the off season.

Will somebody please drive Chris Illitch out of town?!! Also, mlb needs to repair squalid hitting across the league. Sell the team to Sheila Ford with a Chris Speilman type guy who can suggest top brass and coaches.

Colt Keith is bad, we should’ve traded for Arraez like the padres did. If we trade for 2 good hitters we could make some noise but I don’t see that happening. We will probably be sellers at the deadline. We’ve wasted so much great pitching this year. This is the Chris Illitch brand of baseball.

Nobody saw Flaherty , Olson, Skubal being this good. If they added some big bats and pitching was bad, same result with huge payroll.

@@rogermacleod9361 Flaherty is paid 14 million a year, Skubal was 5th in Cy young odds at the start of the year. Our great pitching didn’t just come out of nowhere it has been trending up for the last few years now.

@@troy6679 Agree I cringe when I hear so called fans pitch Skubal at trading deadline..That would be F**king insane..You can't sacrifice pitching for hopeful hitting...We have starters that are ready to contend..We have to build offense without giving away our pitching..Have to determine if we have hitters in our minors near the majors or else make the commitment to free agent target some hitters..If you can keep from some insane payout in dollars and years..
