The Mexican American "representation" thing makes no sense to me. I think people are unfortunately cultured to believe this. I had all kinds of favorite players when I was a kid and I never thought twice about what color they were. I was more interested in their names and their stats. But I wasn't raised to think skin color mattered, it's so unfortunate today that we have to keep talking about it 😒
