Hello HTF well you guys had a good run going darn over heating motor still a great effort by the whole crew also want to add Joseph in your heat coming out of turn four you could of bumped that 21 car out of your way and probably could have finished 3rd but you backed off instead and showed me what a classy driver you are any body can run thru another car but you choose to race clean my hats off to you best of luck boys

I was born in Kokomo and raised at Kokomo Speedway.. seen some excellent drivers there and it's always been a fast and exciting track.. even got a couple wins there myself.. and my family even more wins 🏆 but it was very exciting seeing HTF show up.. after Eldora.. even though the engine got hot.. You guys was fast... I and so proud of the entire HTF team.. You guys keep this old man looking forward to watching every episode here on KZbin and I just want to say Thank You!!!

I was born and raised in Noblesville Indiana lived in Cicero raced dirt in Kokomo Indiana I also raced in Anderson Indiana on a high bank quarter mile , raced in Winchester Indiana where my dad got killed back in 1963 running Sprint's, so I got my house up for sale here in the panhandle Florida moving back to Indiana here shortly hopefully. I’ve thought this for awhile but this video just confirmed that you guys need to be running that Dale engine as the primary. That thing pulls down the straightaways and it’s hard to tell from the video but it looks smoother. I don’t care if the dickens has more power. I’d take a engine with less power any day of the week over one that is more radical and hard to hook up. If my memory is correct, y’all have never won a feature with the dickens but Joseph has won a lot with the dale and draime. It’s gotta be a good match and from what I’ve seen over the years, the dale and draime engines seem to be a better match for Joseph’s driving style.

You all need to take the body panels of that body including the side of the roof and nose piece sail panel and spoiler side and cut the sides of a old tire and put mud plugs in the tires and hang it on the wall. It'll look like a full car hanging up

When I went online and saw the DNF at Kokomo, I was concerned that you guys might have damaged the backup car. I know overheating isn't a good thing, but it's better than another wreck. You've had some tough weather in your area of the Panhandle. With no videos, I've been concerned about problems with wind or rain or . . . Hope all is well with you folks and your families.

Nope, even flat tappet stuff doesn't need adjusting that often. That's how good the technology and quality of parts are today.

@@JJ-1-1 flat tappet stuff is Crate motors, not real racing engines...lol I don't think technology has eliminated heat expansion from aluminum and steel yet but when you're always dropping valves in your real racing engine, you might wanna start checking your rocker & spring clearances...imo
