Stayed in the cabins there in June 2023. You’re not kidding about it being a great place to hike. Me and my companion hiked to the top of monument peak and my laguna.

@@bobanddangsjourney gate guarding just ended yesterday but we were lucky enough to find a campground here in Midland that had an opening. So we should be good. We're in the 92% coverage area but headed out on our migration to Indiana tomorrow morning

Dang Bob!...... I mean Dang and Bob.......Another great video. I cant believe how few people were at that campground. Those imbedded post around the campsites are what my nightmares consist of. You did a lot better than I could backing the trailer into that spot. I need to dust my drone off and get it back into the air. Need to meet up somewhere down the road someday! I am still holding off on the Osmo 3 as of now but it is on my List. Headed back to KOFA in a week or so. Chat soon

Hi Pete! Thanks for dropping by. The posts were tricky but it was worth it - we have never actually been there in the summertime - I think it gets quite busy - but we love the off season.. Kofa is going to be absolutely gorgeous - I hope you are going to do another video or two on that - we love your work and look forward to the new videos you produce - you have such a creative eye - it is refreshing! Happy Camping!

Why in the world did they put those wooden pegs so close to the road. I probably couldn't have done that park with my backup skills😅. It is a very pretty park. Wow a trail from Mexico to Canada. Thank you for sharing Bob and Dang. Have a good day.
@bobanddangsjourney9 ай бұрын
Thanks much for the comment! Yes we were a bit amazed at how close they put those pegs to the road. I guess the idea is to keep the forrest around the road in good shape - and I understand that, but just a few more feet would have really helped. Saw your video on he eclipse -that was cool you were in a good spot for that!

Hi Bob n Dang. Enjoyed this video, especially the drone video of the mountains. Great info on the original indigenous people and their understanding of the environment. Great job getting your rig into and out of that tight spot. Must have been nice camping in such a nice place and without any crowds. The steaks 🥩 looked real good and all in all looks like you had a wonderful time. Looking forward to your next video 😊

The Cleveland NF deserves more visits from me. Wise words..."don't over plan." Glad I'm a 23 foot TT box vs. your rig! My truck is shorter too. Lastly, I've ditched the stabilizers completely. I don't mind a little rocking to gain the ground clearance.

Goog morning Bob & Dang, its always nice to see a vlog from two of my favorite people. Mt Laguna looks pretty cool, we will have to checkit out. As for planning i plan everything, but when it comes to actual travel we kind if wing it 😊. Its funny the very first time i parked our very first 5th wheel in 2017, we arrived late and backing into the spot i sideswiped the Class A next to us without knowing since it was dark. Luckily for me the only damage was to my rig 😢. Safe travels you two.

We are def a hybrid. Sean likes to plan a bunch but Pia likes to have some impromtu adventure so we have been doing less planning of late. We have been looking for more Socal spots to camp. That looks like some tight parking. Can a 30' trailer get in there. We are in Arizona and want to find a place we could get into near San Diego. We go to Oceanside all the time.
@bobanddangsjourney9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment - our trailer is about 30ft bumper to hitch and it did make it, but it was tight. There are a few other spots that are easier to enter. Our pad was plenty big enough it was just the angle of entrance. I think you would be fine in the right spot. Good luck :)
