I found a foam patch with an identical fly on a sandbar of the lower Wisconsin last summer during an overnight trip. Now that I know it was most likely Kyle's, I'd love to get it back to him. Unfortunately, I ended up using that fly for the rest of the day and lost it to a hammer handle pike.

Very nice! Your tying skill us very apparent! But I just have to ask, is all that really necessary? I promise I'm not trying to be negative. Allow me to explain, i have chased smallies for over 40 years with various colored Wooly Buggers, Clousers, White Wolves, and a rootbeer colored rabbit fur "nymph/hairy thingy". In local waters here, location and action are honestly the key factors to success. I'm moving to Wisconsin from Illinois this summer, and intend to "get in the game" here in Ws. Do I really need $$$ in all new materials to be successful here in Wss for Smallies? I really liked your video, very well done! Thank you, well worth my time to watch your skill make a beautiful fly!
