Although the 7.6 has 3 MPPTs. Isn't it possible for the inverter to hold 6 strings in total? 2 strings per MPPT?

It is possible but not recommended. The inverter will expect that it is connected to 3 different strings, and its MPPT will behave as such. It won't know if there are other parallel strings. The MPPT won't be able to adequately track the correct voltages from the combined strings. There could be production losses. Also, since the strings are combined, troubleshooting arc or ground faults will be much more difficult. You should verify that you do not exceed the current limits of the inverter. This behavior is true of most PV inverters.

We sure do! The zero export settings can be changed using the Tigo EI app and navigating to the Energy Meter settings page.

Do you have to have batteries to use this inverter initially? Or can you add them later after installation?

Great question! You can absolutely add the batteries later, although you would need to also add the automatic transfer switch.

These work with Yilink batteries? the 11kw model looks very promising for what I need, I assume the 11kw are both using either grid power or battery/solar only no? Mine caps at 10kw using grid power and around 8kw using solar/batteries only

Very nice! Would like to see the full installation/comissioning(ATS/inverter/battery). When are the All-in-one systems coming to the USA? The european versions look like a nice option too.

Our power company is asking that we install our rapid shutdown buttons inside of a bubble cover. Is there an option for this with tigos rapid shut down button?

We leave equipment selection up to the installer. We do not provide an outdoor rated enclosure for a rapid shutdown initiator.
